Default the one, the only, BACON EXPLOSION

So I know this is utterly blasphemous of me to post this on a weight loss forum, but I decided to go for it since diet (in the traditional sense) is everything we eat- the good and the bad.

I briefly glanced at a website with the bacon explosion recipe (my friend showed it to me) sometime in January, but completely disregarded it.

Today another friend of mine brought it up (with a photo) in reference to what not to eat if you don't want to get some disease or another, and I decided to google it. From there I was hooked.

So now, I have, have, HAVE TO make this bacon explosion!! More for the experience than for the actual pleasure of eating it, even though I'm sure it will be pleasurable- disgustingly pleasurable.

P.S.: I don't eat like that- even occasionally. This will be a one in a lifetime experience for me, like the time you ate that 7-patty cheeseburger or something. LOL.

I admit to a secret longing for this myself. I ADORE bacon, I love sausages. My diet downfall is always fat - I could sit and eat this until I burst!

Sorry, that totally doesn't do it for me. Plus BBQ sauce is a no-no. Report back on how it was though; I'm curious.

I make something called bacon olives. My mam also used to make them as an accompaniment for Christmas dinner and everyone loves them.

Get some good quality bacon and sausage. Stretch the bacon slices slightly, and wrap around 2-3" pieces of the sausage. Thread onto a metal skewer, and bake in the oven until browned.

You know what would be good would be to use the outer bacon and Italian sausage, but instead of the inner bacon, use maybe some pepperoni and some mozzarella cheese and Italian seasonings? Kind of go with an Italian flavor instead of a bbq flavor, but I'm not crazy about bacon. Honestly, looking at the picture makes me a little nauseated. But not enough to where I won't try and make an Italian one this weekend. Maybe I'll make me a t-shirt - "I survived a bacon explosion"
