Default Another newbie

Hi everyone. I just discovered the 3 Fat Chicks website and it has prompted me to start the Atkins diet today. I have been thinking about it for some time, but I wanted to be committed to it and not go off and on and get depressed I did the Atkins diet about 10 years ago, and it was the only one I've tried where I wasn't ravenous all the time. I'm re-reading the book now, too.

I see there is a lot going on in this website, and I haven't figured it all out yet. Actually, I haven't figured any of it out yet except how to make this post!

For the very newbie like myself, what website aids helped you when you first started? Did you post everyday? Did you do a blog? I guess I'll figure out how to do the weight-loss meter later.

Anyway, I think this community looks like it will be a great support for me. Thank you all in advance for being there! CJ

I just started this forum and Atkins too! So its nice to see another newbie around.

Before I came across this forum, I was on another forum for teens who wanted to lose weight (which is now offline) and I found that posting, doing challenges and writing blog entries really helped me out.

There is alot of support on this forum and everyone has wonderful advice here to help you should you ever need it. I'm sure it won't take you long to find that out.

to 3FC, and good luck with your new low carb WoE!

In answer to your question, I blog, it keeps me honest with myself. Some people use Fitday as well, but I don't.

As for support, between my family, friends and the wonderful people here at 3FC, I have all the support I need.

Thanks for the welcome! I think I might start a blog, just not sure I want other people to see it quite yet!

I looked at your pix and you are doing very well. You obviously have the right attitude and the low-carb plan must be working for you well. Congratulations! What is Fitday? Thanks! CJ
