Weight gain

  • Ok, I started to exercise yesterday, and this morning I stepped on the scale and gained 2lbs, I'm following induction, keep the akins book in my purse, I'm doing everything that I'm suppose to, I also know that muscle weighs more than fat, but all I did was walk, helppppppppp

    Being dehydrated can cause your body to retain water.

    Are you drinking diet sodas?
    Aspartame is known to slow and stall weight loss, aside from being very very bad for you in general.

    I don't know if you are, just trying to narrow down what might be causing it because during induction the weight just flew off of me.
  • I'm drinking about a gallon of water daily, and I can't remember the last time I had any soda (maybe 6 months ago)
  • 2 pounds overnight is probably water weight... could be from the heat, from food you ate, from hormones...
