I just finished my first week of induction and I am very pleased. I lost 5 pounds. I have been very strict in carb counting and counted CARBS not NET CARBS...Just like your instructions say.
I want to continue to be strict and add carbs very carefully through the carb ladder. I'm really looking forward to berry week!
My question is when can you start counting net carbs? What are things that I should watch out for so I don't start some sort of carb creep?
I did read the Atkins book a long time ago about 1999 and was sucessful in losing 30 pounds, but I hit a hard plateau when I started using some of the Atkins products like the snack bars...they had just come out. I will never use them again.
I do want to try making the "1 minute muffin" posted on your recipe board. Sounds great. The key carb ingredient is Flaxseed meal...its something like 17 carbs - 1 net carb. Is this something I can have after induction?
