Default Atkins and gas

Ok this is a really weird question. Maybe it's just me.

But I've noticed that I have way way way less gas on Atkins then when I was before. I ate a piece of birthday cake (yeah I know) and immediately I had gas for half the day. Is this an unknown side effect or has anyone else noticed it? Maybe dad's right and I have a wheat sensitivity.
I just havn't been the same since that house fell on my sister.

mini goal

Its an interesting question. I often wonder what would happen to me if I ate something off plan since its been 4+ years since I've eaten any bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, white flour or sugar

Your Dad could very well be right, my Mom in gluten intolerant and suffers with stomach distress greatly if she eats something she shouldn't.
