Default OWL & beans

I've been reading about OWL and am kind of understanding it (no I don't have the book yet, I've been reading on the ADBB, will get the book tomorrow at the bookstore where I work part time). I was thinking about beans, which are some distance away from where I'm at, but anyway, my question is... if you are only supposed to add 5 net grams of carbs from any new thing, that means about two tablespoons of black beans! Have I got that right? (and if so, what's the point!!!).

cheers,
Sue-the-bean-lover

Hi, Sue-the-bean-lover. I'm Sylvia-the-cheese-lover.

Let's not focus on the negative, sweetie. You can take those two tablespoons and put them on a salad or in some other veggies or how about in a soup. Yeah, its only two tablespoons but there is a lot you can do with those two tablespoons. Okay?

Good luck.
