Ok, first of all the borrowed words from lovely ellis:
Challenge yourself to a little more exercise than you did last month. (for some of us, that's not a lot)
Take a few minutes, get out of your chair, and move it!!
Ok, November was a bad month exercise wise and December started in the same way. Now I am trying to get things in a different direction.
Thatīs why I am trying to do a cardio- and/ or strength workout three times a week and try Pilates (thinking of it for three years...)
My back and my shoulders are hurting like ****, I really SHOULD do some exercises....
Kate, I'm with you!
I love your kitty... what a sweetheart!
I'm still running three times a week. I'm up to 21 minutes straight, although I'm still VERY happy with an 18 minute run.
And I'm still doing weights.
I was going to cop-out today, so it's a good thing I came in here. I'm going to get on my exercise bike for 30 minutes... thanks for the push, Kate, and good luck to you, too!!
Ok, I went Nordic Walking for an hour on Sunday. And on Sunday night, I got my Christmas present (wasnīt a surprise, I choosed it): new running shoes.
They are really great! I didnīt have good running shoes before, so I felt like running on clouds Monday morning. I ran for one hour. Unfortunately I ignored the light pain in my feet....Until I realized that my socks and shoes are covered with blood. Well, my message to all of you: Donīt run that long with new shoes. Or not until you have the desire to achieve bloody feet.
At the moment I am not even able to wear other shoes than Birkenstocks.
But the good point is that my shoes are fitting- the spot which made the wounds will get softer in no time. So I will be able to run with my new shoes again in no time. Hopefully.
