I got 2 new books and they are both great. Since it's been a really long time since I've even purchased a pagan themed book because I usually just can't stand the gear towards teens - I am excited to share.
The first one is called Witch Crafts 101 Projects for Creative Pagans - it's all crafty things to make, and it's pretty varied. There is a chapter on fauna, like making things with leather and stuff, and some pagans feel very strongly against that... but i'm not one of them... and really there is a lot of neat stuff so even if I did I think i'd still at least want to flip through the book to get some ideas.
the other is really coo it's Celtic Folklore Cooking by Joanne Asala. It has a bunch of traditional recipes, broken down like any other cook book, veggies, main dishes soups etc... but in between the recipes are stories and folklore and old myths and things. I am excited to read through it all. Only disappointment is there are no pictures, which I do like in cookbooks.
Anybody else find anything good lately?
