Thanks so much for the information on a Turkey dinner. This is going to make Thanksgiving so much easier to get through

I had been hoping there would be some discussion about the holiday food. I know you are not suppose to save all your food until the big meal. What is everyone going to eat before the meal time?

Three fruits....all in the form of wine....

No, actually I think that I will probably have 1/2 protein and dairy for bfast. And for the 'appetizers' I will stick to the veggies (if I am over, so be it).

Yeah, thats like one regular glass of wine! 3 oz=1 glass. Better make that a wine spritzer!!!! I like to make a low-cal "sangria", It is so easy.

Fill wine glass with ice (I like my crushed)
3 oz Cheap Red Wine
3 oz Diet Orange Pop

It's a way to streach your "fruit" servings and it taste pretty good too.

Well-I have my day all planned out-I think I may actually stay POP-my nemesis? The stuffing. As long as I stay out of the kitchen while my Dad carves the turkey, I'll probably be okay. I usually sit there and pick at all the delicious morsels of stuffing that don't quite make it out of the turkey.

Breakfast: 3 eggbeaters, 1 oz rf cheese, 1 mini-bagel 1P, 1/2D, 1S
Snack: fresh veggies, ff ranch dressing 1V, 1C
Dinner: 8 oz turkey (white meat) 1P
1/3 c. stuffing 1S, 1Fat
1/2 steamed green beans w/butter spray 1V. 1C
1/2 roasted brussel sprouts/pearl onions 1V

Dessert: 1 slice crustless pumpkin pie 1V, 1/2 D

Snack: 4 oz turkey 1/2P
1 slice lite bread 1S
ff mayo 1C

And I'll probably have 3 wine spritzers throughout the day . . . 3 F

Oh-and I'm on Red w/o lites . .
Wish me luck that I can stick to this . . . .
