Greetings:

I wrote this a few months ago, and I keep it under my cauldron.

Brighid the bountiful
Brighid of the open hands,
teach me to measure.
Let me take only what I need.
Let my need be truthful
Let me reach for what heals and builds.
Brighid, let me cherish my body
as You cherish the earth.

That's really nice, CathrynB. You could use that as a daily mantra, maybe chant it each morning as you light a candle or something, to keep you connected to your faith as well as your diet.

Yes; I suppose I'll get to doing that candle suggestion eventually. Candle magic is just incredibly effective for me.

I try to do the following every morning: light my centerpiece candle which is usually green with the words, I light this candle in a prayer to honor the Goddess, for light, and for the healing of the earth. Then I say an invocation which I wrote:

Oh Goddess Mother
Creator, sustainer, changer
You are the maker of the stars
And their movement
You are the beating of my heart
The journey of my breath and blood
