Default Whole Foods Menu 10/23

Feel like I really need to be "whole" today. I still feel yucky from Saturday's hot dog/cookie break.

B-ww english muffin, 1Tb peanut butter
S-ff/sf latte, biscotti
L-lentil soup, spinach salad, orange
S-apple, walnuts
D-kashi chicken frozen dinner (kids are having turkey pot pie), salad, zucchini
S-dark chocolate, tea

tea through out day, may add a kiwi somewhere if I'm starved

Things are starting off back on track today!

B-oatmeal w/ walnut, blueberries & soymilk; OJ; coffee w/ skim
S-pear, yogurt
L-lentil soup; cornbread; dk chocolate
S-cauliflower, carrots & hummus
D-chicken fajitas (w/ bell peppers, onions)

Other snacks: banana, kashi bar

That'll put me at about 1700 calories today.

wake-up
larabar thingy (banana bread flavor--okay)

breakfast
shredded wheat and bran
1/2 banana
milk
coffee

snack
apple

lunch
Wasa multi-grain crackers
cheddar cheese
grapes

snack
cherry tomatoes
celery

snack again
glass of milk

dinner-like experience--trip to the Mexican place
wine
10 chips
gob o' guac
salsa
blob o' beans (they have fat, but no lard)

Short of getting a chicken salad or fajitas hold the tortillas, both of which are grilled but too big and have much obvious added fat, can you guys think of a protien option at a Mexican restaurant that's a reasonable size? I'm thinking I should check to see if they have a shrimp appetizer? They know me, I can pretty much order anything I want special... if I can figure out how to say it in Spanish.
