Default Accomplished what I thought was impossible, 100 lbs off...

I'm kind of numb. I just got off the scales. I never thought I'd be able to say I lost 100 lbs. In fact, maybe I'm still really asleep and just dreaming it, lol. I've been trying for so many years. I guess this just proves what they say, that you have to keep trying no matter how many times you fail. So all you others struggling--don't give up!!! BJ

Wow, that's fabulous!! Are you moving on to maintenance now, or do you have more that you want to lose? Whichever the case, keep up the good work!

That is just absolutely awesome. You must be so unbelivably happy and sooo proud of yourself. I so can't wait to say the same thing.

Anyway, how long did it take you and what kind of program is Medifast?

I started Medifast March 4th and lost 100 lbs as of this morning. Medifast is a program that's been around a long time but used to be only available through doctors. It was started through Johns Hopkins as I understand it but is owned privately now. It is primarily soy protein with low carbs in the form of shakes, soups, puddings and bars. You have one regular meal per day. It works for me because I need everything really spelled out and something that is extremely convenient. Plus, the results are faster than any other diet I've ever been on and I've been on just about all of them. They also have a couple support websites that are very helpful for tracking your progress, etc. I feel it is a very safe diet, especially if you visit regularly with your doctor as I do. BJ
