Question Kashi- crunchy granola bars?

Went to Walmart today and I was in the lines that have all the marked down stuff.Well, I seen the kashi bars and well they have 180 calories,6 fat,150 sodium, 4 fiber, 6 protein. Are these pretty close in comparison to the lites you think????

I thought they were close enough for right know just cause well they had like 30 boxes marked down to $1 a box(6 bars). They only had the pumkin spice flax flavor. I bought 2 boxes and they are good!!! If you all think they are close enough to the lites I will go buy more of them. The experation date on the boxes is May 07.

Give me your all opinions please ,thanks bunches!

Angelica--if they are the Kashi Go Lean Crunchy--I think a lot of us use them as a Lite alternative. WOW--what a great deal--I'll have to check out our Walmart. Thanks for the info--we all love great deals!

no them are not the kind I am talking about. These say they are NEW on the pkg. These are actual granola bars.

The pkg also says they have 300mg Omega-3's

I thought they were a little low on protein too but 2g isnt too bad I dont guess. I liked the fact that they were all natural and they were VERY low in sugars. They were less than half as much as the lites.

I dont know.I think I will use them since they are such a good deal and they are not too far way from a lite. 6 bars for $1 is 16.6 cents a bar!! too good of a deal really

Here is their website that has all the info...www.kashi.com

My DH loves these - especially the pumpkin ones. I'll have to hit WalMArt on the way home!

The lites I have here at work are 170 cal, 6g fat, 150 sodium, 0 fiber, and 8g protein, 17g sugar, so they sound pretty close.

i went to the website and noticed that tghe other two flavors have 1 more gram of protein. I will try these too I think. I am not sure why these were marked down to $1 but it sure was a good deal!

Those pumpkin bars sound really good. I will have to look for them at Wal-mart. They are close enough in protein for me to use as a lite. Thanks for the info.

I have been using the South Beach Diet peanut butter chocolate chip bars in place of the lites. These have 100 calories, 3 g fat, 160 mg sodium, 3 g fiber, 4 g sugar and 8 g whole grain. I thought that these were a good replacement and they are delicious too!

13-with only 100 cals and 3g protein-not really a good substitute for lites . . .

IMO at least

I agree with JM. The point of the bars is a filling snack that is high in protein. You may want to try some other bars that are higher in protein or switch to an all food plan.
