Don't you wish you could see into the future sometimes? Or that your future self could come back in time and slap you around for not sticking with your weight loss program? I think that would really get me motivated, .

I look forward to reading about your progress each month!

September 2006
I lost 15.5lbs this month! Seeing this amount really makes me so motivated to stick to it.
I started taking my measurements on October 3, 2006, and I will update that each month with my weightlosses!

pgray1229 - you did very well in September. Keep up the good work. My losses are a lot slower than when I first started, but I'm still losing and that's what counts.

Good for you for having a long term plan! I also have a long term plan. My goal is to be at goal and maintaining by Halloween 2007. When I started my journey on August 8th of this year I couldn't even really think ahead to where I might possibly be in a month or two, much less in a year. Now looking at how far I've come in just two months, I can look closer and see that I started out needing to lose 100+ pounds, and just two short months later I'm into the 90 pound range. What an eye opener!! I find that I am so happy with me now. Even though I'm not at my goal, I am working towards it every day, and I can see it....it will happen!

You're very positive! That's very good, too! I can totally see myself in one year, next September/October at goal. I'm doing so well, that I just can't see myself falling OP. I need to do this, I want to do this!

Keep up the work, and we'll both be there! Good luck to you!

For Halloween 2007 I too will be at goal and maintaining. Something clicked for me a few months ago. I knew it was time to lose the weight (plus the baby weight).

I can say the one thing that helps with my motivation is having my friend/co-worker to attend meetings with me. We have a work sponsored program that pays for WW if you are in a high-risk category (family history, out-of-whack labs, obesity, etc). So I am very lucky in that respect. I know that I would not be staying op if it were not for the support of my friend.

So guys, grab a buddy and go to a meeting. Call each other and check in. Confess your mistakes, if any, and build each other up. It has worked so well for us.

I WILL be at goal next year!
