Lightbulb 8 lbs by October 31st!

Hey everyone!

I am setting a mini-goal for myself starting today, September 26, 2006 to go through October 31, 2006 of 8lbs. It would give me between 1.5-2lbs to lose every week which is not an unreachable goal. I weighted 169.5 this morning, I stand 5' tall and my goal weight is around 125.

I hope someone will join me as support is what we are all here for!!!!

Thanks!
Evette

also, I started a blog to post about every other day to vent (I am an emotional eater), if you could support me, that would be great! Even if you just read or share a story, I could use the support! ALL of my friends and family are skinny and just don't get it!!

Thumbs up mini goals

Hi Evette,
I set a goal to break 170 by my birthday (next Tuesday). I was at 170.8 today and have 1 week left to do it. I am very excited about this goal. I started at 188 on August 19 and am 5'2". I just started the C25K program last week and believe it's helping me. I also follow the Sonoma way of eating. If you think positive it will happen. I will think positive for you too.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, what is the C25K diet?

Also, CONGRATS! That can be hard to do!!! And Happy Birthday!!!!

Default C25k program

C25K is not a diet - it's an exercise program that switches between walking and running. It stands for couch to 5K. It gets you walking and eventually being able to run a 5k race. i beat my goal this week. I broke 170 6 days early. Now onto the next goal of 160 by Halloween.
