Whole Foods Lifestyle - interesting experiment - soy pasta

Stopped by Whole Foods tonight and picked up Nutrition Kitchen (http://www.nutrikitchen.com/) whole soybean pasta made from black soybeans.

Positives

Cooked fast (5 minutes)
Big serving (compared to regular pasta), 200 calories of this stuff was much bigger than 200 calories of regular pasta
High protein - 22 grams per serving
High fiber - 11 grams per serving
High iron - 70% of RDA


Negatives

Kinda weird tasting
Rubbery
Visually distracting (gray)


All in all - a very interesting experiment! It definitely won't top my list of pasta substitutes, but not too bad.

Hmm, I think I'll stick with ww. Though maybe gray pasta would keep me from wanting more.
