Default Fell Off the Program!!

Well I was on the LAWL program since mid June and from that time to mid August I was doing great (@ 27lbs lost). I went to a wedding in August and it's been down hill ever since. I can't seem to get back on track. I've been giving in to every temptation and have lost complete control (surprisingly gained only 1 or 2lbs).

Haven't been to center in 2 weeks- partly out of fear and another part because I've been very busy. Just venting, but any advice is appreciated.

Camie - First of all, go in to your COD and face the music. So you gained... so what? We all fall of the wagon. But if you keep waiting until you're at your last weight from before, the weight will keep piling on. You signed up for this program for the support and help, so let them support and help you.

I would go in to the COD and get your real weight, then do TO for two days to get you back on track and get any cravings under control. Plus the loss for those two days will be motivation to continue. Then go into the COD the day after TO for your weight again. If you can spare the time, try to go 3x/week at least until you feel you're under control again.

27lbs in two months is incredible! Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move forward. Don't beat yourself up for the last month. It's only a bump in the road.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Camie, don't beat yourself up too much, just jump back on the wagon and keep on riding.

I agree that you should go to you COD and face the music so that you can get it over with and move forward.

We are all here for you.

I agree with the others. If you go back to your COD you'll feel bad maybe for a couple minutes but then you'll gain the confidence to keep going on. If you don't go back you could keep sliding the wrong direction.

Keep on hanging on!!

Camie - The girls are all absolutely right! And if you need a visual aid of that 27 pounds - go to the store and pick up 3 10 pound bags of potatoes and carry them around for 5 minutes. UGH!!!!! Go back to the COD MONDAY and get yourself under control. You don't want to be back where you came from, girl. You've worked too hard!!!

You can do it!!

I was going to do TO last week, but chickened out. I had a good weight loss,2.5 pounds. I think I will wait to do it when my weight has stalled. Its so great to read all of your posts. Never get this kind of support anywhere else!!

You ladies are the absolute best!!!

I did brave it today and went to my COD. It went pretty well...no judgements and on top of it...I lost 2lbs since the last weigh-in. I know it would of been more, but happy for the lost all the same.

Congrats on getting back on track, Camie! Been there, done that... the "pain" of going back to the COD only lasts a few minutes, then the good feelings kick in.

You've done great so far - start it back up!
