Her dresser in the corner and a view of the drapes--believe it or not I found water-like material at Fabricland!

King Triton, Ariel's father, for those of us who don't know who the characters are! :)

Ariel's sisters--don't even ask me what their names are, I couldn't tell you--all I know is that they are all "A" names!

Ariels's friends, the seagull Scuttle, Sebastien the laobster and Flounder the fish.

Ariel herself sitting in a clam shell--it is behind the door in the bedroom.

Another view of the top of the castle--it stretches from almost the top of the water down to half way on the wall--chose the castle to go here because it matches the brass in the bedframe.

The rock underneath the castle and the fish and sealife down there--I freehand painted this myself.

Just a few details left to take care of for the room. I have some stuffed fish and sea creatures that I'm going to dangle from the ceiling with some fishing line and I have a mirror that is to go over the dresser. The mirror is at my grandmother's house so I have to travel a bit to go and get it. I am also in hot pursuit of a hanging lamp to go in the middle of the room as it is really quite dark in there with all the blue. I for one, am very glad to have it finished and if it wasn't for the talents and generosity of my neighbour's I don't know how I would have done it!

Pooky, would you come do my daughter's room? Barbie is her favorite, if we plastered her all over I think I would puke every time I went in there! What a talent!!

Miree has just settle din about a half an hour ago in her "new" room. She's in love with it! I stuck on some glow in the dark stars up on the sky part of the walls and she thinks it's fabulous. I have to admit, I really like them too! :)

Pooky, I want to be a kid again and have YOU for my Mommy! What an enchanting, delightful, happy bedroom! You really get extra Mommy points for this one. Almost makes you wish your little gal would never grow up but you know, one of these days the Little Mermaid will all seem so childish to her. Be prepared to have the equivalent of the Spice Girls or Britney Spears plastered all over her walls in a few years.
PS: Is it my imagination or is Titan cross-eyed? Poor fellow. Must be all that salt water.

Pooky,

Wow, Miree is such a lucky little gal. I will bet she is will be the envy of all her little friends. Just hope she loves the little mermaid for many years to come. I am still trying to figure out how to do Darren's room so that he will like it now and until he graduates. Now that he has removed all evidence of Winnie the Pooh.

Great Job!
