Hi Ladies:
I apologize for the massive quiet! I had the surgery on friday after waiting HOURS (they ran out of beds) by the time I was going in I was dreaming of a hot pastrami on Rye!I spent the rest of friday and most of saturday in the recovery room since that was the room they had for me and 6 other people!
it was actually good b/c we had the staff with us at all times it was bad because I couldn't see anyone for more than 5 min at a time. I got a private room (because it was first available) and My husband came from Sat night till Tuesday when I checked out. It was an odd look at the healthcare system they were understaffed! This is one of the premeir hospitals in the area. so Thank God DH was with me or nothing would have been taken care of
when my drain spilled all over me i spent an hour and a half that way! Anyway everything else went fine I saw my stomach during the contrast no leaks all good and I'm just getting used to my new plumbing and more importantly new relationship to food) I'm walking with a walker or an arm and my incisions only really hurt at night or when I'm walking I'm trying to not take the morphine b/c I'm sick of being a zombie! I'm going to PA for a week so My Mom can take care of me. I'm weak all the time and sleeping a lot but other than that I'm getting there!
