Hi, I'm new here. I'm Diana from MI. Weight never used to be an issue for me of course that was some time ago. Now after having 3 kids and being in denial for a long time (I mean before and after) I could really use help. I don't have a very strong will. I love to eat. And having a low self esteem (sp?) and mod. depression don't help either. If anyone has any tips for me please let me know. Thanks!
My advice would be for you to read as many of the threads here as possible. There is great advice and encouragement to be found. Good luck and wishing you the best of success. I , too was in denial for a long time. I knew I was obese but I didn't think I could ever lose weight. I proved myself wrong. Try to go into it with the attitude that you can do it. It will help.
I suggest going to sporting goods stores, reading fitness magazines, going to health food stores and just looking around, sometimes that it is enough to kick start my motivation to keep going. hang in there, you can do it!
