Hey Everyone!!! I have been gone for 4 months.Whew!! Long time!!! I was doing Weight Watchers(needed a little variety, I was getting bored with LA) for a bit and well I did ok but I kept falling off the wagon (I would say about 20 times!)I liked WW alot but I needed to join meetings. However I deiceded to go back to LA because well its already paid for. I had to finally admit to myself that I need the accountablity intill I get strong again.Sooooo, I went back to my COD yesterday and I did TO yesterday and today. Did good yesterday intill 12:30 last night. I was in the emergency room with my son from 6:30-12:30 and when I left I was starving.I was so tempted to run through a gas station for something but I stayed strong and had a Kashi bar(the ones we exchange for the lites) I was good after that. I am hoping that bar didnt screw up the TO
Anyways, I am back! I gained about 20 pounds actually 25 if you count the water weight.Depressing!!! Oh well I only hav emyself to blame! I should reach goal by xmas, hopefully!

Hi Angelica and welcome back. I'm one of the newbies (since July) and I've lost about 16 lbs....6 more than I ever lost on my latest WW sojourns (there are a lot of WW books at my house!). I, too, need the structure of LAWL. I did not make healthy point choices on WW (e.g., 5 lite beers = 10 points....). Good luck and hope your son is doing better today.
Joni-CONGRATS on the 16 lbs!!!! I found that I really liked WW but I just needed to join the meetings for support.Since I paid for LA already I went back to it instaed. Plus, I think you lose weight faster on LA than on WW. I hope maaintance on LA is like WW because I can totally see me following the WW plan when I am just maintaining.I guess Ill have to wait and see what maintanace is like on LA.
Angelica - Welcome back! I too am one of the newbies. I joined early August and have lost 16 pounds (I think). Love LAWL so far, but if it weren't for this site, I'm sure I'd have jumped head first in a hot fudge sundae or something by now!
