Weight Watchers - Estrial versus synthetic estrogen

Has anyone noticed that they can lose weight better if they are on natural estrogen (estrial) versus the synthetic called Premarin. I keep hearing horror stories of women unable to lose weight or even gain weight while on the synthetic version of estrogen. I was hoping taking the natural form would be better. I need to do something to help my menopausal state but also need to lose 55 pounds! Help!

Keep in mind every womans experience with estrogen replacement is different. I have worn the patch for 4 years now and maintain almost the exact same weight as when I started on it.........the "good" it does far outweighs the possible "bad" it may do. I am on a very low dose but it works wonderfully for me.
Most overweight comes from over eating......and age! Both can be corrected!
Stay positive!

I've lost nearly 70 lbs while on Premarin. I may lose a little slower than someone who's not menopausal, but I've managed to lose with WW and exercise. :)
