Default Whole Foods menu for Sunday, 8/27

Let's have a great day!!!

Breakfast: scrambled egg, one slice of LF swiss, homemade wheat toast with light Smart Balance, fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi and pineapple), and milk

Snack: roasted chickpeas

Lunch: FF yogurt (wasn't all that hungry)

Dinner: whole wheat spaghetti with button mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, minced garlic; salad with romaine, radishes, tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing; more mixed fruit

Good morning Katpo! (Even though you posted last night!) Let's see:

Breakfast
2 slices of whole grain bread
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 cup peach kefir

Snack
1 apple
1 cup champagne grapes

Lunch
1/2 cup brown rice (cooked in chicken broth)
20 spears of asparagus
3 oz cooked ground chicken (the package doesn't say breast, so I won't count it as a sf)

Snack
1 orange

Dinner
4 oz baked salmon
3 cups romaine
1 plum tomato
1/2 cup cucumber
2 tbsp Kens's lite balsalmic vinegar dressing

Dessert
1 cup Earl Grey tea
1 tsp honey
1 cup chocolate soymilk
1 square (10 grams) dark chocolate

Total calories: 1500 (on the nose!)
Total SuperFoods: 15

Hi Gals!!

The sun has come out at last!!! It's a gorgeous day.

Breakfast:
whole wheat pancakes, 1/4 cup maple syrup

Snack:
A bean stew dish (after church) that I need to get the recipe for. It had limas, chick peas, kidney beans, peas and turkey bacon. It was awesome.
1/4 apple, 1/4 banana

Lunch:
tomato sandwich on whole wheat
1/2 nectarine (they had tree-ripened at the grocery, pricey but ripe!!)

snack:

Dinner:
Grilled salmon
fresh green beans
new potatoes
