I'm so happy.
I didn't care *how* much I lost at this weigh-in, but just so long as I was under 300lbs.
YES! :woo:
I'm down to 291 (last weigh-in was 301)... I didn't expect I'd be down 10lbs.
So that is now 61lbs total in 11 weeks of Optifast.
My dad is also down 61lbs - but only has 47 more to go to get to goal; I've got 91 to go...still seems like such a long journey even though its going so fast. :hyper:
I had another NSV this morning - I put on a pair of jeans (my nice Wrangler jeans that I used to wear ALL the time) - they are still tight, but I can get them on, button and zip them....I haven't had these jeans on in over 3 years!
It feels so good! :high:
I'm also down a total of 40inches overall! I can tell... it is obvious to me when I look in the mirror that I have lost alot of weight. Of all my weight loss attempts, the most I ever lost was about 45lbs, so I am doing far better than I EVER have with anything in the past. I am still so grateful to be doing this program.

Congratulations, Amanda! :balloons:

Don't worry about how far it is to goal ... you WILL get there, one pound and one day at a time. :D

Wow, no matter how exciting the scale is...there is just something about being able to fit into those old jeans. I about cried when i read your post. I know that feeling of fitting into those old jeans. Its kind of like a confirmation to what the scale is saying. Scales can be so finicky...but a pair of jeans wont lie. BIG CONGRATS!

Oh, isn't it a FABULOUS feeling?! I was ecstatic to get out of the 300s, and recently, I almost re-entered them :o But remembering how hard I'd worked to get out of them in the first place drove me to get really serious and not allow myself re-entry :p So, remember this feeling!!!

Congrats, Amanda! How much longer on this phase of the program? 1 more week?

Thank you, everyone!!!! :D
I know many of you say that I am an inspiration with my accomplishments, but really truly you guys all inspire me to keep going and it feels good know that I have many people cheering me on!!! THANK YOU!

Heather - this would be the last week, but the clinic we go to does not adhere to a strict 3 month fast. They try to individualize the plan to meet most specific needs. Right now, I am going to continue on for another month - assuming my lab work checks out alright (there was some concern with my liver enzymes, but everything seems to be alright now). I will still be going for follow-ups every 2 weeks.
I feel really great - I feel better than I have in a long time. I'm happy again! LOL I physically feel great - not tired anymore, no physical hunger, no knee pain. Since school started, I've been able to get back in the gym for my strength training more often. Even at this weight, I feel normal again...I feel like ME again.
