Default Phase 1 Start Week of August 21

Hey all you newbies and Phase 1 restarters! Please post questions, menus and encouragement or problems here so the more experienced Beachers can help.

First queston, how many carbs are you really allowed to have on this first phase?

Hi keen There's no carb counting on SBD..instead the focus is on good slow carbs. There is no limit on the amount of Phase 1 veggies (unless specified in the phase 1 food list) - aim for at least 4 cups a day of veggies and salads.

The most important thing for me was to make sure I focused on getting the veggies!! The rest came naturally after the veggies were in my belly
