100 lb. Club - Halloween Goals

Do we have a halloween goal list out? I did not see one so I am starting one
My goal is to be down 20 lbs. to wear size 12's
starting weight 179 size 16, in the gut and loose at the but and legs.

I have been racking (rattle rattle) my brains trying to think of a next"holiday" And could only come up w/ thankgiving LOL
I would like to weigh 15# less ( quite a lofty goal)
making me 233#
I wouls also like to commit to 45 minw/o 5 x a week
STill low carb
still doing the water thing

I'm really committing myself to this one. I want to be down to 245 (roughly 18 pounds) and back to exercising at least 4 of 7 days a week.

1. lose a pound a week so that is lose 8 pounds and be 231 pounds.
2. walk at least 1 mile a day but hopefully more.
3. cut down on alcohol...
4. lower my bmi to under 40 currently 40.7!!
5. grow two inches to be 5ft 6
I don't think I have much hope with the last one :lol:
Well it hard for me to set a weight goal since I don't know what I will weigh after the baby comes but I do want to set some goals since I have really been away from all this for so long. How about these...
1. increase water intake to 3 sport bottles/day, roughly 2 L
2. take baby out in stroller everyday, gradually increasing mileage as I can manage
3. start light stretching exercises
4. after 6 week check up start stationary bicycling again
5. start food journalling again

I really want to be below 300 can you tell? Still my realistic gaol is to lose 20 lbs which I think is possible as the start of my new program is to fast for three days and pray while drinking lots of water. Something I have not done in years...drink water I mean.
To cleanse and begin a high protein diet ( I need muscle badly, losing more is a bad idea!) When burnt so badly I was ordered to take in alot of extra protein to help heal my skin and that is why I have no scars and a little multicolored on my right breast(yes I burnt it too, my male nurse was at first embarassed and then it became a joke) by no scarring. I discovered at this time that my weight dropped steadily for 15 lbs. That is my barrier for some reason. I really dislike the number 15 it has tripped me up countless times. I get stuck there. I even quit eating for a week to get past it to no avail, but this time I am going to take xenadrine to help me past this point and from there I should be fine on my own. So for Halloween I want to be 20lbs less. I am beginning at 338 so I look forward to 318.

Seeing how I have been doing...I better not expect too much from myself.
I would like to:
1. Be motivated, committed and confident.
2. Weigh 195 or less

1) lose 14 lbs - 2 a week - a high goal but nescesarry as to not screw up when small goals are met :)
2) try and find healthier foods - dh and i are *ultra* picky eaters, so this is a big challenge - perhaps just eat more baked chicken - less fatty - high cal foods.
3) ditch these old size 20s... being loose isn't cutting it anymore, i want them off and the 18s on!
4) record foods better
5) post here and read here more often
6) email with pal who just started WW for more motivation and encouragement as well :)

Oh! I love the inspirational holiday goal posts. I have been away from this site for a while and am anxious to get back into coming here more often again. I have lost ***33.4*** pounds this year slowly but surely. My goal is to lose atleast 10 more by Halloween (of course I want to lose more but hey, 10 is great!!) :)

Well I wanted to make myself accountable to my goal. I am revising my weight loss goal due to me blowing off the month of september. :o .
So I currently weigh 244# on 9/6 when I listed my halloween goal I was 246#, My goal was 233#
So I would like to lose 2 # a week making my new lofty goal to be 236# by Halloween.

Err, I don't weigh in until a week from Thursday, soI don'tknow for sure where I'm at now, but I'll go ahead and put in my bid to be at 320, or less by Halloween... also want o set the goal of exercising 5 out of 7 days a week, stretching 7 days a week, and keeping up on my water intake... and reducing my salt intake.

I may No I DO have to change my goals i was so bad last month that there is no way that i will drop 20 in this month so i will change my goals to 10 lbs any more will be a bonus and to be in 14's solid maybe a tight 12 :^:

YEAH!:lol: I passed my Halloween Goal!My goal was to weigh 270
I weighed 268 3/4 tonight!
I think it is early enough to make a new goal of 263.

I want to hit my first major goal of 250 lbs by Halloween. That's 5 more lbs to go!
By the way, you guys are awesome - keep it up.
I am still shooting for my goal but my friends not a lb. have I lost so far this week! Yes, I gave in and checked before weigh day. I don't feel bad though my system is so blasted delicate for some reason and when I don't sleep I don't lose weight. I wonder why that is? It has been a VERY bad sleep week. I finally slept like a normal human last night and hopefully I am back on track in the sleep department!!! I am OP but having to (as Sue Knows) take it easy on the water but sip I am! That slows down weight loss too.
Still I am only 7 lbs from being under 300 and I will do it by Halloween if it takes the hair off Santa's chin!!!!!

Well, I didn't make goal. Just barely but none-the less I am 1 1/2 lbs from goal. This has been a hard battle but I am still OP, 100 oz. water and right now I am working hard on two Afgans for my Great niece and nephew for Christmas. My hands aren't quite what they used to be so I am slower but still get the job done. I wanted to give them something I made that would still be here long after I am not. I made one for my Dad over thirty years ago and it is still being used by Mom and looks beautiful. I want to give the kids something Like that will last for many, many years and hopefully everytime they wrap up in them it will be like a hug from me.

Pam whooo hooo so what that you did not hit goal you lost!! that is better than gaining, you strived so hard to get there!!!
me i started at 178 size 16's i wore 14's all day yesterday (small ones) but i wore then and i have 14's on today. my weight of 20 down did not quite fly i had such a hard time staying op for a while i am not suprised, I was 176.5 today, only a 1.5 loss from the start but i fluxuated so i must have lost 20 it was just the same pounds!!! :lol:
I am not unhappy with my performance. I lost in size, and stayed through my exercise program, i started to run again, i am doing 18 out of 30 on the treadmill!! at 6 mph i uped my calorie buerning to 500 min a day of cardio which meant about 45 min of hard cardio, so that is an imporvement, so all in all this was a success. it did not reach goal but i acchieved forward progress dispite some back slides and have overcome my slides!!!

Well Hello everyone!!
Well after a couple of revisions I made it into the "30's". I was 239 last Friday. Maintained my woe and water and did much better working out.

Congratulations to everyone who made their Halloween goal! It's great to hear how well everyone is doing. :D
Unfortunately, I missed mine by one measley pound... but we all know that one pound can actually mean quite a lot at times!!! :dizzy:
Still, although my loss is slowing right down, I've now lost 79.5lbs (1.5 this week). I'm two thirds of the way to goal, and the final third is going to be the hardest of all, especially now it's so cold and I just want to curl up in the evenings and eat more!!!! I do know I have to keep on going, just like the little old tortoise... plod, plod, plod... :lol:
Here's to our Christmas goals, and those lovely new outfits!! :)
