Hi my name is Angela. I am 31 and just had my second baby 7 weeks ago. I have never lost weight before. I have always gained a few pounds at a time and thought, thats not too bad. My first pregnancy I gained 40 pounds and only lost 20. This time I gained 33 pounds and have already lost 35 pounds. So with my body in the mood to lose weight I thought I would come here for some support. Cause I know there will be days when the scale won't be so kind and I wiil need you girls. This site seems great and so supportive.

Wow! You lost all that already! Are you breastfeeding? That'd explain it!

Congrats!

I am a new mommy too. My 2cd was born a few weeks ago.

I have lost 27 lbs in the past 3 weeks. I want to keep it going.

I did an elmosize tape with my toddler today.

I want to get out and walk outside with my sports stroller but I haven't had the "motivation". The hardest step is out of the front door...

Congrats and welcome.

I actually lost weight during my pregnancy and lost some more after breastfeeding. I just couldn't let go of the extra 500 calories a day that I was consuming while breastfeeding after I stopped. I went from about 170(which was still too heavy, but smaller than I was when i got pregnant 190) to 204. That was my heaviest. While I was still pregnant I weighed a little more, but actually lost weight after birth or c-section in my case. My problem was that I liked to eat too much and was eating all the wrong things after I stopped breastfeeding. Portion control and eating more wholesome foods has been the a big part of my success.

You came to the right place. The ladies here are super supportive. I have been here almost a year. It will be a year in November and it will be a year in October since I changed my life.

Take care and good luck.
