Hi everyone,
Tammy, you've been busy getting our threads started this month. Thanks!
Congratulations on losing 1 pound. I hope I have that luck tomorrow when I weigh.

08-04-2006, 11:19 AM
Totally disgusted!!! I didn't lose anything when I weighed this morning. :( :( :( :(
I hope others had a better time of it.

08-04-2006, 01:55 PM
Tammy: Congratulations on your 1 lb loss!!! :carrot:

Tina: I'm with you. I didn't lose anything this week, though I didn't gain either. Potato chips was my enemy this week!

08-06-2006, 06:23 PM
Potato chips. Now that really sounds good. Guess I shouldn't though. My butterfly needs to keep flying in the right direction.

Where is everyone?

Finding Me

Monday is my weigh in day and it was a great one today. 4 lbs. down. I have updated my trackers. I just love to see that progress. Last week was a great OP week for every aspect of my plan. I started using the Wendi points system two weeks ago and have lost 1 lb. first week and 4 lbs. this week. I hope this way to use points helps me keep moving. I tend to have long plateaus and I want to avoid that for this year. I started this journey last July and lost 50 lbs. in the first year. My current goal is to loose to 200 by Oct. 9th. (2 lbs. a week) only this week speed me up on that rate!

Finding Me
08-17-2006, 07:18 AM
I'm just now getting a chance to post Monday wi results. 2 more lbs. off!!! I am a school librarian and we reported back this week and it has been non-stop. I'm loving the Wendi Plan for points. I have seen more consistent loss since I started using it. Exercise has been good also. 15 more lbs. by Oct. 9th is looking good.
Hope everyone else is having success.

08-17-2006, 06:12 PM
Woo Hoo!! You are doing awesome Finding Me!!
My butterfly gets to stay in the 1 position again! Boooooooooooooo!! I thought for sure the little sucker would move this week. But what do I know??

Hope the rest of you do well!!

08-17-2006, 06:17 PM
Finding me, I agree with Tammy. You are doing awesome!!!
Tammy, you'll get that butterfly moving in no time.
I'm going to weigh tomorrow.

08-17-2006, 06:46 PM
I weigh in on Thursday Nights, I missed last Thursday because I had my tonsils out. I haven't eaten much of anything since last week, so tonight will tell me how my body is handling the lack of food. Barely can get water and soup down. I am actually thinking my body went into starvation mode!

Hope you will let me join you all!:D

08-17-2006, 07:22 PM
Welcome to the crew Dee!! Good luck with weigh in. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Tina, maybe I'll weigh again in the morning and see if there's a change.

08-17-2006, 11:27 PM
Lost 3.5, not bad for haven't eaten in 9 days. :carrot:

08-17-2006, 11:32 PM
That's a great loss!!

Tammy, hopefully you and I will be able to move our trackers tomorrow. ;)

08-18-2006, 12:06 PM
Well, I forgot to get weighed until after I had eaten breakfast. It was the same, so maybe I lost 1/2 pound, but maybe not. Next week that sucker is going to move!!!

Dee, that's a great loss!!!

08-18-2006, 02:07 PM
I'm not moving mine this week cause it (scales) said I was up a pound.

08-18-2006, 03:33 PM
Do you find that it matters what time of the day that you do your weigh in? I do mine at night, our meeting is at 7 pm. I don't do anything different during the day, but I won't eat dinner until after the meeting.

08-18-2006, 03:49 PM
I have less water retention in the mornings. We eat during the day and that has to make us gain. However, thing is to be consistant. If your first weigh-in was at night, keep weighing at that same time of day.
Keep up the good work!

08-20-2006, 09:22 PM

I was just curious, I noticed all the meetings in my area are at night, 7 pm being the earliest.

08-24-2006, 01:21 PM
down 3.2-- so thats 9 lbs in 3 weeks and I am very motivated!!

08-24-2006, 01:31 PM
WOW, BJ---I wish whatever you're doing would rub off on me.

As for me, I stayed the same.

08-24-2006, 04:25 PM
My first week and I lost 1 lb!:carrot:

08-24-2006, 05:30 PM

08-24-2006, 05:44 PM

Haven't been able to visit the site much. It keeps bogging down my computer. :?:

As for August, missed the first weigh-in of the month due to being at the beach stuffing myself on fresh seafood. Calabash style (lightly breaded and deep fried for the uninitiated). Shame on me, :nono: I know. But, I just love :T good seafood and haven't found anything near as good as what is found in Calabash, NC and Murrell's Inlet, SC in this area. So, I figure a once in 4-5 year splurge won't kill me.

I managed to make up for the fattening suppers by eating lite the rest of the time, so still managed a 0.8lb loss at the second weigh-in of the month. It did catch up by the third weigh-in though, I was up 0.4lbs. Managed to make up for it on the next to last weigh-in this month, down 3.2lbs and made my 20lb loss! :dancer: Since then, however, I seem to just be starving and tired. I suspect hormones. Must get control though, if I don't want to see that loss disappear this week.

Good luck to All!:goodluck:

08-26-2006, 04:01 PM
Well, Terry you do exist! Yea!!!!!!!!! WE have really missed your posts, girl. Do try to get your computer to pick up the site. (I understand how computers are aggravating.)
Your meals sound heavenly. You didn't do badly with all that great food.
Congratulations on making your 20 lbs. loss.:dancer:

08-27-2006, 10:50 AM
Congratulations, 20 lbs gone is great!

Finding Me

Thanks for the encouragement ladies! Such good progress by so many. I'm chipping away 1 slow lb. at a time. But down is good. I also love to see that tracker move. There are so many other things that are so much better. I have more energy. I passes people on our laps in water aerobics. I can actually feel my abs and buttocks tighten when they say to tighten 'em during workouts. I use to think yea right. I can keep up with some that I haven't been able to and pass others in other situations. We walked to lunch the other day and I was leading the group and realized I was going to fast!! Thanks for letting me get this out.
Best to all.

08-31-2006, 05:30 PM
it's Thursday, where is everyone? No one weighing in today? LOL

08-31-2006, 06:35 PM
Dee, I was wondering the same thing.
Some people weigh in the evenings.
Good luck to everyone today!!!!

09-01-2006, 12:24 PM
This is the last posting week for August. We'll have a new thread for September.

I'm in a major rut. No loss this week. :( :( :dizzy: :?: :(

09-02-2006, 11:57 AM
Aww, thanks guys, it's nice to be missed. And, yes, those meals were heavenly.:cloud9:

No great movement on the scale this week. Down 0.2lbs. But, it's down, not up so I'll take it.:goodvibes

Finding Me - 1lb at a time is great! :bravo: Losing slowly is better anyway. Keep up the good work.

Tina - You'll get out of the rut. And no loss is also no gain!

09-02-2006, 09:03 PM
I didn't lose either, stayed the same at 159. New month...new motivation!

09-08-2006, 10:15 AM
It's time for a new thread.
Do not post here anymore! ;)
