Hey Ya'll,

I am ready to do my grocery shopping! I will be going on Sunday. I have my food list that I got from this forum (because it has more than the book does!) but I was wondering if anyone has some additional suggestions of must-haves.

I did buy olive oil because it was 2 for 1 at my local grocery store! I have four bottles.. :D

You want to make sure you have some healthy carbs like beans. Taco Bake is a favorite phase 1 recipe. You also want to make sure you are getting your yogurt or milk. I like to add Splenda and cinnamon to the plain fat free yogurt for phase 1 and I like to add SF flavored syrups to the skim milk since I don't care for plain milk.

Get lots of veggies. I find that fresh ones taste much better. I like egg substitute with mushrooms, onion and cheese during phase 1. I like to snack on raw cauliflower and raw zucchini as well as raw red pepper. In phase 1 I used to like to dip the peppers in hummus. Those are just some of my favorite things.

String cheese and the Laughing Cow cheese spread are two of my favorite go-to snacks.

I eat a lot of the lettuce wraps!! They are so easy to throw together and very filling!

I also include a lot of herbal teas so that when I just NEED another flavor I have it.
