Everyone! Don't forget to read page 2 of #69.
Dianne,
I am so sorry. It has to feel empty. Just try to think of what she is doing for herself. I know it doesn't help much. I will be a basket case when my Brittany leaves.
You can cry on our shoulder anytime. The Holidays will be here before you know it. Come on here anytime!

Dianne,

I know it is hard. But remember you have us. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Diane,

I know your felling empty inside, but your daughter is having a wonderful time. I know I did when I went away for my first year of college. Remember the only thing that stays the same is change! That is one of the reasons we are all here, trying to change ourselves for the better. Your daughter is changing for the better too. Keep that in mind.

Myra,
You are terrific. Your persistence sure keeps me motivated. Keep up the good work.

Terri, Jen, Patti, Joyce, etc.
I've been drinking lots of H2O and been OP every day this week except Wed.(I was so upset after my WI that I had a couple of margaritas before dinner). HOpe that everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend!!

Dianne,
It's very hard to see one of our children leave the nest; every day it will be easier for you. Crying in the shower is perfectly normal. I've done it. Perhaps we feel we have to put on a strong face to the world, so we let down our defenses in the most private of places. I wish you strength in this; think of how great your visits will be when you see each other!

Hope everyone else is having a great Friday. So far, so good. Joe and I took a walk last night, it was fun. I hate to exercise, so it's just about the easiest thing for me to do!

later!

Hi All!
It is Sat. again. Going fast. I cannot believe it is Sept.

I lost- 2.5 lbs. for a total of approx. 53 lbs.
Brittany lost 3.5 lbs. for a total of 10 lbs.
Brandon lost 1.5 lbs.- for a total of 11 lbs.
Bruce maintained- No idea where he is.
Bradley is bored with weighing. He said he will do it later.
Must be nice to be 8 and not worry about this.

The 1st of September already! We are enjoying a weekend of absolutely gorgeous weather.....sunny and in the 70's. A bit of a cooler breeze, tho, promising that fall is on the way. I love autumn.

Have a safe Labor Day weekend, girls.

Hi guys

Isn't life funny -- I've been depressed for the past couple of days and today a friend of Alana rang my doorbell asking for her. I told him she was away at school, he said I know, but I thought she was coming home this weekend. I said I was sorry but she wasn't home. Then I called her cell phone and left a message about what happened. About 10 mins. later she called to say, she was on her way home -- she wanted to surprise us! But her friend let the cat out of the bag, :smug: So she will be home soon, I'm cooking her favorite foods. Since its a long weekend she'll be able to stay until monday and then drive back with her friends. I'm soooooooooooo happy :D can you tell, lol.

Terri - you guys are doing so fantastic, even the kids are amazing. How do they feel about their accomplishments ? great I'll bet.

Jen, yes the weather here is beautiful too but for some reason today its even more so, I wonder why :^:

Hi to Myra, Janie, Essie, Patti/Zoe & Joyce. Hope your'e all having a fantastic weekend!

Hugs to all,

That was sweet of Alana. Have a GREAT time!!!!
Yours is going to be a happy house this weekend.

Thanks for the congrats. I am so proud of the kids. They have changed their habits. Even when I give them permission to not count points as stringently (is that a word?) on say like weigh in day they still do. That is what I like to see.

Have a fun weekend.

Hi:wave:

Thanks Myra, Dianne & Terri. Another beautiful day. Getting ready to go for my walk. Since I've been off the past few days it's so nice walking in the morning. I'm so happy the fall is coming. I love Autumn.

Hi thought I'd pop in and say hello to everyone!

I'm doing fine just busy with work and things around the house. It has been raining here for the last week. We got 11 inches of rain in 3 days. Fortunately we are not some of the unfortunate ones that live in an area that floods. We are on a hill.

Sounds like everyone is doing great!

Essie - Welcome back.

I've remained the same as far as my weight (no loss/no gain) But I have not been sticking to the program like I should. I am getting ready to sign up for a WW special that will take me to the end of December. Hope I can be more committed this time. Went to the doctor Monday and had blood work done for my thyroid & cholestorol but I haven't got the results yet. He put me on a medication to slow my heartbeat. My heart beat at rest is 90-100. I get discouraged sometimes because I've battled my weight all my life and have never had the difficulty losing weight that I am now. :( Hopefully with fall coming on and cooler temperatures I will be able to get out and walk.

Well Charles just cooked lunch for us and I gotta go.

Take care!
Joyce

Hello Everybody :)

Joyce, it is much harder to lose weight now for me too. When I was in my 30's I useto lose it very fast. If you can start walking that will help. There's a couple of specials going on with WW.

You all have great day.

It's feels good to be back :D

Love,
Essie

Hi Diane,
I am so glad that you had some quality time with Alana. I am sure she misses you too.

Terri,
You and your family are awesome. Always right on track.

Joyce,
Remember that the best thing that you can do for your health is to keep OP. Good luck on you test results. I hope you get an "A"

Essie,

I have been doing a lot of walking too. My parents have been visiting for the last couple of weeks and that has giving me the freedom to get out and do some additional walking in the evenings (while they watch Ellen), as well as my normal lunch time walks. Mom and dad are leaving today. That always fills me with mixed emotions. I can't stand the way they take over my house, but I do miss them when they are 3000 mi away.

Myra,
GO girl you are terrific!

Everybody,
I WI this morning. I lost 1.5# only one more to get back to where I was before Mom's cooking.
I hope you all had a great Labor Day. Personally I had a hard time getting back into working. Ellen is back in school now, and although she was very nervous about going back (having nightmares), she seems very happy to be back in her routine.
Keep up the good work everybody!!

Hugs,

Congrats on the weight loss, Janie. I'm hoping to WI tonight (lots of running around with first day of school but if I miss the meeting I could always go tomorrow night, I guess. But I like today's leader a lot better.)

I hope everyone is having a great day.

Congrats on the loss, Janie. It's good you were able to enjoy your parent's visit. I imagine they miss you and your family just as much! That's a big distance to be separated by. :(

CONGRATS JanieD. Great loss. I know what you mean about mixed emotions. I feel the same way when mine leave. I feel like I am 10 again sometimes.
Thanks for the compliment to my family.
Hope your little girl gets back into the routine easily. I know she will.
When we would leave Ohio at Christmas time to go back to Fl. and the kids were small my husband would always say "Back to Baby Boot camp."
No more grandmas etc... for awhile to spoil them.

Hope you get to go Myra. Doesn't it feel good to want to weigh in?

Have a great night everyone.
Terri
