Default the best looking I will be

I am 26 and feeling old. It's just going past that 25 mark that makes me feel this way. Now, I'm freaking out about getting old and I feel like I'm missing out on being a hot 20 something! If I lose the weight when I'm 40 I won't look as good had I lost it earlier.

Does it depress anyone that you are getting older with the extra weight?

Think of the bright side (If not just to stay positive but to detour any emotional eating!) You could have gone 20 more years before you found it in you to take the plunge and change your life. Its a good thing. And 25 is really young.

OMG - I think that was the bane of my depression (see depressed) a few nights ago. I am also 26 - what is bad about that is your always thinking you are 27 (which I am not even 26.5 yet) and then you are like I remember when I was 22 or what not and thought 27 was so old - and how mature I felt at 22, yet I feel the same - yet notice my body is changing to my later life.

The good thing that i try to remember is all the hot actors that are coming out now in their 30s to late 30s - which means I could still be hot!
(meaning hottness is getting older)

So lets do it now (I keep saying) before its too late to even be a hot 30.
(or really a hot 27 yo!) (or hot late 26 yo)

I have been feeling too old to be so overweight since last year, when I was only 22. Like the others have said, thank your lucky stars you are deciding to do something about it now! Also, I personally would rather be a hot 30 something and 40 something than a hot 20 something, because later on in life your physique will be a sign of your mastery over your own body, and not a taken-for-granted benefit of youth.

I read in a *VERY* educational gossip mag the other night that 40 is the new 30! Means we have a little over 10 yrs to get hot and be 'in'...lol. Hey, long as we're getting healthy, it doesn't matter!

Does it depress me that I am getting older with extra weight?!
No.
It depresses me that I have spent 20 years of my life fat. (but probably only the last 4 or 5 actually really aware of WHY).
I'm going to be 25 in a month.
It doesn't depress me that I'm getting older because I'm doing something about it NOW. But to have wasted so much time fat..that makes me sad; and of course, as a kid you really can't get a good grip on the why's and how's - you just know you want to be normal.
I'm not going to be fat when I'm 26.
When I turn 26, I'm going to be normal, finally, for the first time in my life.
