It's hot and I want to look better in my swimsuit. So decided to create a challenge. A small one for me anyway. Maybe that'll help me keep on track. Anyone else can join and are welcome :)

The challenge goes until August 1st. To lose as much as you want to try for.

I want to lose 7 pounds.
SW: 157
Goal: 150.

OK what the heck. I've made myself a one month goal which ends on Aug 7 for 7 lbs so I'll say 5 lbs by AUG 1
I've been losing pretty slow so I'm not shooting to high!

I really need this, I'm totally in! today I weighed 169 so on Aug 1 I want to have at least a 10 lb weight loss. so 159 on the 1st :)

b: taco salad
l: eggs
s: nada

and tons and tons of water and SOME kind of exercise :)

How's everyone doing with this challenge so far? I've been lurking here for inspiration...I am losing inches but not much in the way of weight, but I have my eyes on you for your success'.... keep at it!

It's so hot here in Wisconsin...I don't even want to move to get dressed let alone exercise! :devil:

Hi Brenda, I would love to join this challenge. The beginning of Aug is when I start back to work (teaching), I would love to go back lower then when I left. I find challenges helpful. I am going to start another one, in addition to this one (100 days cheat free).

My goal for Aug 1, is to be under 160. that will be a 7 pound loss for me.

well, I've had a 1 lb loss, I've cheated once but I've exercised every day so I consider it all good so far :)

Im in!!! Im not going to set a # of lbs to loose, just to loose them!! :lol: I guess the goal is to feel not so overstuffed in my own skin. :rolleyes:

Today's plan

B~protein/fibre shake
L~ eggs
S~ chicken ceasar salad

Snacks....dont know...I'll add them as I go.

Exercise....I wont be going to the gym today, I promise myself to at the very least get out on the bike with dd and go for a ride.

WI today was good. Better than I expected. Lost 3 pounds!!! WAHOO!!

I did pretty good yesterday, one little cheat. But Im ok with it. I got my exercise in, all my water in, and feel pretty good.

Today's plan

Breaky~ protien/fibre shake
Lunch~ eggs
Supper~ I dont know....but it wont be something hot :lol:

Congrats brenda! that's great! for some reason 3 lbs is SOOO much better than 2 lbs. for me it makes the difference of being bummed to being ecstatic!

ok 1 lb down 4 to go. I'm feeling ok about it because I didn't exercise like I should have and I lost 3 last week, so I didn't expect much. It's still possible to meet my goal if I kick it up a knotch!

Good Morning Ladies!! I re-started Atkins about 12 days ago after falling off the horse :) During that time, I have dropped 10 pounds. I was doing atkins about 3 months ago and then I guess with some problems that I had, I just lost motivation. During that time, I slowly saw that scale start climbing up again so that is what woke me up. I think this is the most focused that I have ever been about loosing weight. My meals and snacks are so planned out that I haven't even thought about cheating. Since re-starting Atkins, I've been cheat-free for the 12 days. I just need to be working on getting all my water in.

I would love to loose as much weight as I can before 8/1. I'm going to try to shoot for 5 more pounds. If I loose more, even better :):)

I'm in too! I want to lose 5 lbs by August 1st...Exciting! I would love to get out of the 180's...I've been lingering here for a long time!
