Has anyone tried some of the diet software around?
I'm curious if its a good incentive or just a lot of work punching in all that data...

I think diet software is quite useful... It enables you to track your meals, and makes you aware of how many calories you consume... otherwise you can easily lose track.
As an added benefit, you can store all your recipes in one place. Once you enter them, there is really not that much data entry - just selecting a recipe...
