Well, the 4th is come and gone, lets see if we still have something to celebrate. Everyone is welcome to join this general weigh in thread. Just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around. Good luck, all!

Me: 189.5, down 2.5 pounds from last week. Yay, the long weekend didn't totally negate my losing my usual cycle water bloat! For the first time I can officially say "I have less than 50 pounds to lose." Feels good. On a sort of down side, my In Laws are slaughtering a bunch of cows in two weeks, and they're going to give us around 250 pounds of beef. 250 pounds of beef? But.. um... I'm a semi-vegetarian! Sure, I eat red meat, but not very much, less than a pound a week! This might be a challenge.

127 for me, 2 lbs change since I last weighed...I think it is gone for good this time...

Hi all i'm new to this board. Decided to quit lurking and jump in here. I don't have a scale but i do weigh in once a month when I go to my chiropractors. I lost another pound for a grand total of 2 lbs. It's coming off slowly but surely. I'm just so happy that the scale is sliding down and not up!

Thank Pete! I ate entirely too much over the holiday. I have no idea how much I weigh because I'm afraid to get on the scale, lol. I'm not going anywhere near a scale for at least another 2 weeks. I usually only weigh myself about twice a month anyway.

welcomw wickchick and congrats also LLV WOW you have lost SOOOOOOOOOO much weight which plan did you follow??? I've seen you on the board and i have been wondering how you did it and how long has it been?

im so glad i found this site because since i have ive passed the 200lb mark and slowly going down. i havent made it below 200lbs since 2004 when i got pregnant with my son. when i got married i was 176lbs i was comfy and happy with myself. the year before i had been 159 and a size 8 and was happy with myself im just glad im moving down this friday i am 198.8 *i kid you not when i stood on the scale it said 197.8 but i think that was a fluke. lol or something but its 198.8* so a loss of 3lbs from last friday. Im just hoping this keeps up. I have a mini goal of 190 by aug. 8th wich is what i was pre pregnancy with my last baby *he will be 17 months on the 15th* so.

I had an excellent week, and a BIG loss to show for it....7lbs down! Went from 240 to 233!

I'm a calorie-counter.

It's taken me about 2 years. In fact this month marks my 2-year anniversary.

Congrats on getting the scale to finally move, Sunni. Most of us do have times where we seem to be stuck, often for weeks or longer. It's nice to have a report that these things do eventually pass if we keep doing the right things.
