Since no one has started this...

Taking a slooooooow start after injuring myself whitewater rafting (that was July 1, spent 4.5 hours out on the boat, which apparently burns some ridiculously high number of calories, but I took an unplanned swim on one big rapid and bashed myself good in a couple of places, so I'm going slowly to not aggravate anything).

July 4 - swam 45 min
July 5 - 30 min stability ball, 100 crunches, and 42 painful minutes on the rebounder (one of the places I whacked was my shin, the other bad one is right on my kidney - bouncing HURT)

mandalinn - OUCH! sorry to hear of your injuries get better soon... Thanks for starting the thread...

Today I, biked to the gym (2.5k) ran 5k on the dreadmill, worked chest and triceps 40 mins, then biked another 15k, tonight I am going rollling blading with DD we just bought her some blades for her birthday...

Here's what I've done so far this month

July 1: Walked at mall 30 minutes
July 2:
July 3: Walked at mall 30 minutes
July 4: Walked at mall 30 minutes
July 5: Curves 30 minutes, Treadmill 30 minutes
July 6: Aerobics/Target Toning class 43 minutes, Stationary bike 10 minutes

Oh dear, is it the 9th already? I'd better try some baby steps! I'm going to try for 4 days of 15/15 this week. 15 minutes each of weights and cardio.

I walked a little further than my allotted 15 minutes ... not much further :)
And I did do 15 minutes of legs but not much with weights. Maybe I'll do a little more later.
It feels good to have done something but it doesn't feel like much.

1 hour leg workout... my legs were tired afterwards so my cardio was so-so, but I did do some hills and treadmill lunges for a half hour...

30 min stability ball, 100 crunches, and 45 min walk/jog!

I jogged! (This is actually a really big deal for me because my weight has been too high to do so for a while. I have a congenital knee problem and my kneecap used to dislocate when I jogged because there was too much weight pounding down on it and my quads weren't strong enough to hold my kneecap in its little track - but today I jogged for at least 10-15 min of my time and besides one heck of a side stitch, I did it with relatively little knee pain!)

I'm going to do my stability ball/100 crunches. Then I have about 4-5 hours of HEAVY cleaning ahead of me, including steam cleaning my carpets, which will certainly burn some cals even if I don't quite get my heart rate as up as I'd like it.

Saturday - Stability ball, crunches, and a big 6.5 hours of cleaning (heavy cleaning - did the spring cleaning in the middle of July).

Sunday - 20 min. on weird exercise machine at my grandpas cabin, followed by 25 min of walk/jog on trails.

Monday - 45 min walk/jog

Taking my morning cardio off for a number of reasons (mainly that my houseguests didn't leave until well after they said they would, so I couldn't go before work), but between the 3 mile walk last night and the fact that I'll do both resistance training on my lunch and swimming tonight, I'm OK with it.

Sunday: DH and I went for a 2 hour bike ride, 40k

Monday: DD and I went for an hour rollerblading then I went to the gym to do legs :strong:, I just spent 1 hour weeding the gardens :cp:

I did not run Friday night. Decided to allow myself a night off after a day that kicked my ***. I *did* run 2 miles last night, and did an additional 40 mins on the elliptical.

Tonight will be 65 mins elliptical, and early bedtime. TTYL! ;)
