I was wondering if we were going to continue this. THanks. It really helps me to be accountable for my exercise!
this morning 30 minutes treadmill and I"m off to the pool for 30 minutes of laps!

wed. just got done with 30 minutes treadmill. Like to tryoto go for 40 now but today just coudn't do it. Very hot and muggy and I don't have my air on.
Maybe that's why. (sounds good anyway!)
also looks like rain so I won't get in swimming either.
Guess that will have to do it for today! Off to the shower then the mall.

Friday 30 minutes treadmill (finally got in 2 miles under 30 minutes!)
My daughters birthday today, going out to eat and justbought her an ice cream cake so I might have to do an additional 30 minutes tonight if I cave in and indulge (just a bit!)

Ok, so I think I'm in this alone! I don't mind though because I like having to be accountable to post my exercise it makes me feel good.
so-
this morning I did 70 minutes on the treadmill! That's a first for me.
firstly because I felt SO guilty about having birthday cake last night and secondly, I got a new shakira cd and man, if that don't get ya moving nothing will!

needtolose, Sorry, I have been forgetting to post mine. I know that I walked outside 30 minutes on Thursday. I swam on Sunday and walked a mile outside with hills and everything. I am just getting off the CPU to get my lazy butt on the treadmill now. I'll try to do better. I have been lazier the last few days. Since hitting my goal I have had tons of PM's and been on the computer too much.

I have noticed that you have been posting A LOT! That's becaue you have had so many great responses to making your goal!

It's ok to forget to POST your exercise as long as you don't forget to Do your exercise!

I was back on treadmill for 30 min's last night (Monday). It felt good. I am writing down my exercise in my food log and plan to walk at least 4 nights a week. i'll try to remember to post it.

I need something to motivate me to exercise. I should count the swimming I did last week. But to me that wasn't exercise as I wasn't really in the water much (moving). And lugging the containers of beef yesterday didn't last long enough to seem to "count" even though my muscles are protesting today :lol: But I'll try and figure out something that's going to light a fire under my butt to get it moving. I'll try and exercise so I can start posting here :)

30 minutes treadmill

Brenda - you"d be suprised how fast it adds up! if your muscles are aching today, you've been working them! Just try to get in about30 minutes . it doesn't always have to be cardio type stuff. someday's I get a workout just cleaning my house. If you have a pool do some water exercises they don't feel like much at all when you do it but you do get results!

Is that on a treadmill? If so how long does it take you to do 2 miles?

Just wondering. I just got down to 2 miles under 30 minutes. I know that's not great but it's getting better. I run 1/2 mile then walk 1/2 mile and repeat.

I could do 4 miles in 65 minutes which I'm working on too!

anyway, today 40 minutes treadmill and 30 minutes swimming exercising.

1 1/2 hrs. mowing the yard in 100 degree heat. I was sweating like a pig. That's my exercise for today.

I spent 6 hrs. today shopping at the mall and walking all over the place. I may skip the treadmill tonite, I am very tired.

I'm going to count the couple hours of playing softball as 2. Mainly because I wasn't go-go gadgeting ALL that time. But I was busting bootie quite a lot of it. :cb:

I made it 32 min's on the treadmill last night which was 1.65 miles. I was happy with this. Then, I swept and mopped my huge kitchen floor. The mopping was harder than the treadmill. My DH usually does the floors. I plan to walk again tonite.

I walked 20 min's on treadmill last night. That was all I could make it due to the weak feeling after the stomach virus the night before. But, even that one mile made me happy and I slept great afterwards.

I have been doing housework for 4 hrs. I did dishes, cooked, laundry , swept and mopped kitchen and front entryway. Then for some dumb reason, I thought today would be a good day to shampoo the carpets. So, I went and rented a rug doctor and have spent 3 more hrs. on the living room carpet. I have worked my way to the hallway now, and was so tired I had to take a break. Man, this is hard work and I'm not used to it. LOL. I think this will count as my exercise today, I doubt that darn treadmill will see my shadow this evening. I'm already trying to choose between ibuprofen or hydrocodone as my drug of choice tonite to get rid of these sore arms and shoulders. LOL
