Default Food and inflammation

This is a good site. If you have arthritis, or FM or some other inflammatory disease, this is interesting reading.

Thanks for posting that, Anne.

When I totally changed my way of eating about 5 years ago, I didn't realize that my very strict interpretation of Sugarbuster's was an anti-inflammatory diet. After a a few weeks, and upping my exercise levels, I found my FM pain and flares were pretty much gone. I told my rheumatologist that I'd found the cure for FM! I also went off my meds, and proved myself wrong. BUT, I continue to eat that way and have had very few flares or pain in the last five years.

I can pretty much assure myself of a painful flare by eating a sugary, wheat-laden meal, or something like a pizza. So there are LOTS of reasons for keeping a clean, sugar-free diet!
