Hi everyone! I was trying to think up a new challenge and I saw this commercial for Monique's F.A.T Chance. I LOVE Monique, she's so beautiful and confident...just happy with herself. I wanna be like that so I decided to name my challenge after her show. Monique's F.A.T Chance premieres on Oxygen July 15 but our challenge will end on the 17th. I am so revved up! :carrot: Join me ladies!

BTW, F.A.T stands for Fabulous and Thick, which we ALL are! :hug:

Well I want to be 170 for July 23. So 175 by the 17th? That is 13 pounds, that could be tuff, but I am willing to give it a try!

So...this should be good...a nice mini-goal to work towards. If I absolutely stick to my eating and exercise plans...I should be able to the very bite off more than I can chew (pun intended). Ill say 15 pounds. Im in! :cb: (

I'm in. I am starting at 238. I am just going to make my goal 5 lbs because it is so hard for me, and I don't want to make an unrealistic goal for myself.

5 pounds is all I'm going to do, I'm trying to be realistic with myself, knowing that's going to be a really hard target for me!

Wow...this is going to be sooo good...I hope everyone meets their goals! JasonsLea, how often will we report our weight? Whenever we post or just wait til D-day? I cant believe that after this challenge I will actually be back in the 200's after God knows how long. Dustcatcher, you have the right idea...don't set yourself up and then be overwhelmed, remember...the tortoise did win over the hare. That slow and steady weight loss is always considered the best weight loss...Happy Losing Everyone....LETS DO THIS!!!! :high: (

Count me in ladies....I think 10lbs is a realistic goal for me.. I just have to exercise...thats the hardest part..i love i guess i will have to utilize my ipod and listen to some music...If i meet this goal Im getting my self a new shirt....I have your back Anguilla... We in this together

Ang ~ I start a new thread each week either Sunday night or Monday morning. You post your weight on whatever day is your WI day. You don't have to do it that way if you don't wanna. You do what makes your comfortable. :hug:

Count me in! The 17th is 2 days before my birthday...a great time to be finishing up a mini goal as a gift to me!!! I'll go for 8.5 lbs....That's a smudge over a pound a week but finishes me up at a nice, round (number, I mean, haha) 250. SW 258.5.

Can I join your challenge? My weight loss has stalled. I don't want to admit it but it has stalled for the last year or so. My name is Patty, i'm single, 44 going to be 45 this Nov. I have been a yo-yo dieter since my 20's. I've been as low as 113, then to 130 in my mid 30's, jumped to 150 at end of my 30's and now i'm here at 184 lbs. I have tired all diets, you name it I've tried it. I have a treadmill at home and lots of videos at home. I just need a good kick in the A$$.

I went to the doctor's and they said I weighed 237. But I am not going to go with that. I'm going to buy a digital scale tonite and I'll let you guys know what that says. My one at home says 230. I know the docot's office is probably more accurate but I want to go buy a scale that I have access to weekly. What would u ladies go by???

rosario when i did W W a long time ago i bought a digital that has the pounds plus the .05 whatever thingy.LOL its worked for me for 3 years now i got it from walmart hope this helps ...

Ro ~ About damn time! LOL Thanks so much for being here! :hug: Just let me know what your official sw is when you get your scale so I can post it. Like 707, I use a digital scale from walmart. Mines weighs in increments (like 244.5) too. It kicks *** and it's like $20.

Rosario - go by your scale. But maybe test it out, weigh something you know the weight of, like a bag of flour or some hand weights or something. Make sure it is right, or really close to it. The only scale I go buy is my own because it is the only scale I can stand on everyday.

i am on the South Beach Diet. I go on the message boards there and its like i dont get any replies at all when i post my comments, like looking for a buddy and all that stuff so i read that one of the members is a member of this website and i thought i would give it a try. I love what i see so far, Everyone helping eachother out. I love it. How about you what plan are you on?

I am just going simple calorie counting and exercise. You might have better luck finding a buddy in the buddy forum. Another busy one on here is support.

Got on the scale before bed last night and it said 141lbs!! EEK!!!:eek:
This morning it's at 138lbs!!! EEK again!!!!:eek:
I was at 133 just a month and a half ago....:mad: :cry::mad:

I usually wait till my weigh in day too, but for some reason I got on that scale and got a shock!!
I put the scale away now, I accidently left it out on Monday....:)

My day started out great guys!!! I saw the lowest numbers Ive seen on a scale since 1999! I was in such disbelief I just kept staring at the scale! I think I weighed like 4 or 5 times to make sure the number didnt change. But sadly for me...this is just about the time in my diet that I self sabotage, sometimes thinking that my progress is oh so much and I can afford to stray, then its an downward spiral from there, ha or should I say upward!! So this time around, I am making a very conscious decision NOT!!!! to sabotage...for any reason, for any one, for any stress, for anything...hope everyone is progressing well (

Morning ladies! I was not good yesterday, but I will pick up the pieces and get moving today. With the sickies in the house I have not been able to go exercise at all this week. I am hoping that since DH is sick too I can leave the other sick one with him and go today. Have a great day!!!

Hope everyone is doing okay...Korie has been stalling for the past couple of days...we're doing Atkins...but she has been drinking Crystal Light but she did some internet searching and found that the aspertame may be a problem so she is going to stay off it for the next couple if days and see what happens...other than that I did good today, stayed off the carbs, but no exercise and not enough water. Ellen, I hope everyone starts feeling better as well so that you can get on with your routine. Those little distractions come, but they wont stay around forever. Heck, just today my sister ordered :jeno: but I withstood, it was hard...but I always tell myself that these foods and these restaurants will be here long after Im why give them the power to stop me from least thats what I tell myself when Im being good. :^:

There is no way I could low carb, I try and cut it out a bit but not very much. I am just not that strong, haha.

I think everyone is getting sick, my boyfriend was really sick last week (still is a bit) and now I am getting it too :(

Am going out on a rare date with my hubby tonight with another couple and hoping I don't gain back the 3 lbs I lost this week!! Will probably have a few drinks, that might do me in :dizzy: ! We are going to a "play" called "Tony and Tina's Wedding", it's a wedding, dinner and dance you go to, but the people in it are all actors, it's this big loud Italian thing, and they come up to you and talk to you like you're some long lost relative and stuff. It's supposed to be hilarious, was off -Broadway for years I guess.

Ellen - I had a good laugh when you said you hope your hubby gets sick so you can get out of the house!!That's a true dieter, one that puts her plan before her husband's health:lol: ! But I know how you feel!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and gets psyched for Monday!!

NO CARBS not this girl I am with Rosario I would be so grumpy. Well my company picnic tomorrow at an amusement part. I am excitited cuz the kids will have fun. But the food wholy crap burgers ice cream cotten candy. I just have to not go crazy and watch what I eat. But I don't even know if we are going because it's suppose to rain for 6 days straight starting tomorrow so that sucks. well off so do some work before I leave bye

Just to clarify~~DH and I usually go to the gym together, but the kiddies have been sick, and I couldn't take them to the day-care. With DH sick too I could leave the sick ones at home and go to the gym. Which, by the way, I did not. I am so horrible this week, I just never made it there, But I am starting fresh on MOnday. I think I am going to try to make it a habit of getting there 5 days a week.

As for low carbing, I think I would die if I ever had to do it!!! I don't know how anyone can go without bread.

well gurls...hopefully i will lose some weight today... i have not had anything with an artificial sweetner in it. i was tempted today with some subway cookies, but i said no. they were my favorite, macadamia nut and white chocolate. this induction phase sucks...

i have really been slacking with the water this week-- i left my nalgene in a friend's car-- she lives WAY out of town and i won't see her until later this weekend... i'm SO freaking dependent on that dang nalgene when it comes to drinking water. i need to just go get a 'spare'. i'm on track with kickboxing. kickboxing is even winning out over the world cup so far. we'll see how well i keep that up tomorrow i guess.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good Saturday. TOM decided to come visit last night. Damn. I've been in bed with horrible cramps all day. What a way to end my July 4th challenge and start my new job. Lord knows how this is going to affect my weigh in on Monday. I'll just have to wait and see.

I totally couldn't low-carb, I'd probably die.. or at least want to.. lol. Altho, that being said, I am REALLY limiting my wheat, it's so not good in my body.

TOM started for me yesterday, I feel bloated and icky. I'm working today, so I gotta fit myself into some jeans when sweats sound so much better, heh. Speaking of which.. I guess I better go there.. heh.. have a good one!

Hey girls hope everyones weekend went good. Excpet for all the rain it was nice evene thought I think I ate to much and drank to much Alcohol oops I went out saturday night with another couple played pool out till 2am. I have not gone out in so long since the kids. It was nice but had to much long island ice teas I am glad I am peron who doesn't get But I did weigh my self Saturday and found out I was 188.5 gained 5 ibs. But I am on a mission. I am also planning to go away in august just so I have something to have to lose weight for atleast for a weekend well I am off to get some work done bye

just checking in guys...i lost about 4 more pounds this week. i think i have changed my lifestyle of eating. this no carb works for me. i should meet my goal by the end of next week.
