Weight Watchers - Need a buddy

Hi everyone i started weight waters abt 3 weeks ago. i started out at 226 and am down to abt 214.5....which is really cool for me i dont remeber the lst time i weighd this much. My problem is i cheat atlest 1x a week so im not leaving that 214.5. Im hoping someone wll help me stay on tract, not cheat and just be there for support. My family is also on it but they dont really discuss anything. And my twin sister is constantly trying to get me to go to mcdonalds or wendys. . My ttl goal is 175 right now.....My short term goal is 200. so i have about 15 more lbs to go....If anyone is interesting being my buddy and helping me throuhg this i would greatly appreciate it...Thanx

I wiltedflower' I will be your buddy if you like we have about the same amount of weight to lose give or take a few pounds.
I am the only one out of my family and friends that is on a diet and that makes it very hard because they constantly want to go out to eat for lunch or dinner everyday and it is driving me crazy, it takes every fiber in my being to resist. I can't eat like that everyday while I am trying to lose weight. I run to the site everyday for support and motivation just reading some of the post and threads is enough to keep me motivated and going.
WE CAN DO IT AND WE WILL DO IT!!!!!

hi, see i wont go anyywhere unless i know exactly how many points are in the meals...I wish they did points for like friendlys and tgi fridays those are my favorite restaurants........I have a weigh in with my doctor tomarrow so hopefully she'll be happy for me....Today i hat 23 pts alltogether...im suspposed to have 26...im not hungry so im just gona not use the points...Have u ever tried a boca burger? i had it today..the way i calculated it was 3 pts......the burger, ww english muffin, lettuce tomato, mayo, ketchup and pickle.....was sooo good and really filling i had 1 and was done... hopefully i caclulated it right. How did u do today?

Would you two mind another buddy? I sure could use some support and stuff. I think I have a bit more to lose than you both but still in the 200 lb. range. YUCK!

if u email friendlys they will give you the nutr. info for your favs. i can tell you that a collasdsal burger is like 26 and a sm. frienze. is 20.

I'll take as many buddys as i can get.....im depressed right now....i had 1 bad day this week adn i gained 3 lbs....i weighed in on sat at my meetng at 212.6....well my mom had a party that night w/ her friedns and i didnt eat alot but i drank 4-5 wine coolers...nxt day im at 215 :( i should have stuck to carrot sticks

Like bottled wine coolers? I think they have a lot of sugar right? If so could you maybe next time mix wine with diet 7-up? that would only be 2 pts....I'd say never weigh the night after having alcohol with sugar- you'll be retaining lots of water-Im sure it will be gone in a couple days. You can do this! we all can-lol

yea i done drink alot though so ididnt pay attention to points or cals....i just wnt to lose the weight by my nxt weigh in......i dont want to go up in the scales

Wiltedflower, I wish I could tell ya the low down on the wine coolers but I don't really drink. Maybe an occasional sip of someone else's but alcohol is a No no for my meds I"m on.
I pigged out yesterday but today I actuallly ended the day with 1/2 pt left and 6 activity points. A first for me in a long time.
Well gotta go. I have a sick little one.

i just walked abt 3 miles on my new treadmill.....took me an hr but i did it....havent been able to walk in a few weeks due to the rain..it felt good....I WILL LOSE THE 3 LBS THIS WEEK...I WLL!!!!

I'm trying to just get out of the house. So hard to do with 5 kids. I have my sister's kids along with mine. Trying to get to the pool to swim. I just got done doing a power clean on the middle daughter's bedroom. Where does all the crap come from that just accumulates everywhere.

Im like afraid to eat right now...i feel so guilty abt saturday night. the weight is still there....if it was just water weight it would be gone by now..wouldnt it? i jsut did 500 crunchs and tomarrow i will do another 3 miles on my treadmill in the morning....i want to be back at 212....y did i have to screw it up i was doing so good :(

WF19-Saturday night for you was a little slip :) ...the important thing is that your right back on track again. I got that advice from alot of people. Just remember to eat..sometimes your body holds on to what it has if you're not eating enough. Hey you got more gusto than me. I'm still trying to get my exercise up. I'm not much of a mover...;) I have stuff I enjoy doing ( i love to walk) but with 3 girls and a husband, there just doesn't seem much time left for me. I can do what I can do and that's it for now...BUT I FOR ONE THINK YOU'RE DOING AWESOME!

WF19-Slips are what make the trip all that much worth the ride. I'm guilty of more than 10s of 1,000s of them myself. Like J said, don't let it get you down...just keep on going.

Thanks for the support!! i really appreciate it....i know i shouldnt let it get me down....its just alittle disappointing...i was 212...i dont even rember the last time i was that weight...prolly like 10th grade so like 6 yrs ago? today i did 6 miles...3 this morning on the treadmill and me and my sis went walking a little while ago and did 3 miles i plan on doing my ab lounger tongiht so atleast 500 crunches on that....its sounds like alot but it goes quick and doesnt feel like alot ..... i didnt eat well today thought....i had a mcdonalds double cheeseburger w/ childrens size french fries for lunch and my sister bought me arbys for dinner. but thats it...tomarrow i will not go over my points the mcds was 16 pts....and the arbys was abt 25 so i took that out of my weekly allowance. so hopefully not too bad.... How about u guys? How are u guys doing sticking to the plan? how long have u all been on it? what do u find is the hardest part?

Wiltedflower, the only thing i can suggest is stay clear of fast food joints!, the food is packed full of no good ingredients, if you have ot go to mcd's ect.. grab a side salad instead.
I rarely go to thoes places anymore.. and if it's a last resort and i do eat the junk.. my body let's me have it later!

yea i know that wasnt a good idea.....but im gonna be really good today and the rest of this week....weird thing is...after eating fastfood 2 times yesturday.....i didnt gain anyhting...im at 214 right now....exactly where i was yesturday actually a lb less...but i have made a pack w/ my sister to not cheat for the rest of this month and nxt week when im on vaca

I attend meetings each week....i dont really like going but it keeps me honest knowing someone wll weigh me each week.....right now im weighing in at 210.5 so thats good. i wont change my weight scale untill my official eigh in on satirday....What about u?

I'm trying the at home kit. IT is hard because I'm not accountable to anyone and I can cheat and get off track anytime I want. That's not good but I just don't have the time or money to go to meetings. Too bad they weren't free and I had some kind of childcare. :(

Yea i wish i was free too 11.00 a week to have someone tell me i lost or gained weight kind stinks...i could have my grandma do it for free. she has no probs telling me im fat and need to lose weight.......Some places wll allow kids to go to meetings..im assuming as long as there behaved.... how much does the at home kit cost?

I got the deluxe kit and it cost $134 with shipping. But it has all the points books, the points calculator, a points bracelet, slide charts for figuring activity points and food points, a magazine subscription, and booklets for figuring out common weight loss probs. , and some other stuff.
