Weight Loss Surgery - Any Financial Aid for weight-loss surgery?

Hi,
I am interested in getting the weight loss surgery. The problem is I have no money and no insurance. Are there any financial aid programs to help people like me? I live in Connecticut. I could really use some suggestions, help, etc.

If you don't have health insurance, check with your state medical aid. I know someone (in California) that got their surgery paid for by the state.

I was also a self pay patient and although we were able to pay for my surgery, all of the MD's had payment plans through credit companies. I have no idea what the interest rates would be tho....
