Yuck!!! i'm up to 231. I'm hoping its not right and there will be a huge loss Next Monday. I didn't want to keep it there but that's what the scale said this morning so that's what I have to go with .
Awesome job Dustcatcher and Donna. Woohoo for you!!!

i made goal as far as working out goes and made water goal everyday last week except for saturday (i only drank 1/2 of my goal). why is getting in all my water so hard during the weekends???
06-06-2006, 10:47 AM
I only lost a .4, so I was 231.8 and now im 231.4..blah! I GOTTA do better next week...im only hurting myself!

punkrockgyrl-i feel you on that water. i don't get any during the weekends. i like to buy the one liter water bottles and just drink that throughout the day. My daily goals are 1 liter of water per day so it works out perfectly for me. You should try setting out how much water you are supposed to drink like in water bottles, etc. and just sip on them during the day.
randee-.4-loss is better than gaining 3 pounds (which is what I did this past week). it's okay. at least you are going down and not up!!

I weighed in on 6/3. No change. TOM is here so that is good. Meaning I didn't gain any. I am currently 215. I will weigh in again on June 19th.

Hey all...I'd like to join. What do I need to do?
06-07-2006, 02:58 AM
Congrats Donna, DC, and Randee! Randee, like Ro said, losing .4 is better than gaining anything!
Rosario ~ Keep your head up sweetie. I'm not even weighing myself this week cause I've been so bad.
Nola ~ I used to be that way with weekend water too. It was because the only liquids I used to have on the weekends was liquor! LOL But lately, I've been too tired to party with my friends on the weekend so my water take in is much better.
72butterfly ~ TOM is good to you! He hates me!
Jtjoray~ Welcome! You don't have to do much, just talk with us and post your WIs every week! I'm so happy you've joined! Is your screenname your real name?

Hello Ladies, I just joined and I'm looking forward to finding some people who understand what I am going through!!
I'm tired of people trying to FIX me. I'm not broken!!!
I'm tired of people telling me to just "eat less" and "exercise more" like I've never heard that before. Gee if I knew that was all I had to do, I wouldn't have spent my whole life fat.
I was having a great week in regards to my exercise and food choices. I have been walking on the treadmill at the hotel, took a half hour walk on lunch break today, I have been eating my own food and not eating hotel food. Today my bubble was burst when I actually had a colleague tell me that if I would simply walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes, 6 days a week I would lose weight. But of course he said I'd have to ensure I was soaking with sweat when I was done.
I can't belive the nerve of some people. Do they honestly think I'm so stupid that I don't know that if I were to exercise more that I would lose more weight?
It isn't just overweight people who look for quick solutions to weight problems. Skinny people are convinced that losing weight is soooooo simple!!
I am desperately looking for people who know I'm not broken, who know there are no easy answers, who know this is a lifelong struggle, who know what it is like to stare at the container of ice cream not wanting the ice cream but eating it anyway because I neeeeeed it.
Do you also find a sense of accomplishment (yet guilty) at the site of an empty plate?
Thanks for listening Ladies!!

Hey Godiva! Welcome! You aren't broken sweetie, none of us are. You are gonna love this site! The ladies here are great!

No....my real name is Trisha. So when do we all need to weigh in by? I want to lose another 10 pounds by July 10th
06-08-2006, 02:50 AM
Our last weigh in day for this challenge is Monday, June 19. Then I'm starting the thread for our July 4 challenge. You can join that one too. :) I do weekly threads, you post your weekly WIs along with general chatter, rants, whatever you want. If you don't WI weekly, that's okay. I don't care if you weigh in monthly. I just want people to chat and have fun in my threads. :)
