PCOS/Insulin Resistance Support - Hello fellow PCOS'ers

Hello friends.
My name is Renee and I have PCOS. I have had the symptoms from puberty.
I was only diagnosed a year ago. I've suspected it for years tho. It's been a long journey......we tried to conceive for many, many years without success.
I achieved one preg which I miscarried. I also fight obesity and I am currently doing the LC diet. I've lost 30 lbs in 6 weeks, which is great, but have many more to go.

Congrats on the first 30lbs! That is awesome! Are you on any meds for your PCOS?

Sorry for you loss. I know how troubling that can be and how hard it is to face each month. Are you still TTCing?

Welcome to the boards.

No, we are not TTC at the moment. I am on BCP to straighten out my cycles, meanwhile I am under the care of an RE. I do take metformin to control my IR.
