Carb Counters - inches lost

I thought it would be interesting to see how many inches everyone has lost since starting their new lifestyle. I was 49 in chest, 47 in waist and 45 in hips to start with. I am now 38 in chest, 33 in waist and 31 in hips . Thighs were 25 to start and are 17 now. Definitely the upside down V shape. Total inches lost is 47. I have only measured 3 times since I started and the last time was last night when I did a virtual model thing.

I would love to join this thread however, I just started a six week challenge to keep myself away from the scale and measuring tape. But I do have my measurements in my signature and I will update them on June 21.

I have my measurements at home, but I have to say that it was quite enlightening to see where I've lost inches and where I haven't. I thought I hadn't lost anything in my chest area, but when I measured I lost over 3 inches. I also thought for sure my abdomen shrunk, but actually it hadn't but my hips did.
I'm really glad I took the measurements so I have something to compare to as I lose.

I'm so glad I took the advice of someone in here a long time ago and kept my measurements :)
start - bust: 48 waist: 48 Hips: 55
3-24-06- bust: 38 waist: 34 Hips: 41
as soon as I find my measuring tape I'll measure again :)

I lost mine somewhere along the line in all our moves. But I know I've gone from a size 32 to a size 20 and from a 5X to a 2X and some XL shirts.

great job ladies. Sometimes the scales don't tell the whole story. Thought it would be inspirational for us to look at the inches for a change and realize how much we've accomplished.
