Although it's not mentioning weight loss, this should show that though there's nothing wrong with green tea per se, its health claims were apparently a trifle, shall we say, overblown :shrug: as if this was any surprise to the millions who have taken various diet nostrums that contain some form of green tea extract or whatever in them with no real or long-term effects.

Hopefully the FDA will follow up on the effects of green tea (or lack thereof) on weight loss - although currently marketers are still running rampant with their downright lies while selling their various tonics...
