OK, most of you have been up for a while and are already done your workouts. I know I'm the slacker around here.
I had a nice relaxed weekend of yardwork, housework, and dinner and a movie with dh. Saw "Thanks for Smoking". Very good. We rented "Matchpoint" which I didn't bother to finish watching on Saturday night.
Lots of cardio on Saturday, then no exercise at all yesterday. Today is LEGS and back at it for the week. Time to get really serious about the food again. Too many complacency slips going on.
What's up in your world?

 Hello!
We saw that Matchpoint, it was quite odd, but enjoyable, if only to see it centered around London!
I may have been up a while, but I haven't got round to my workouts... ;) I'm nixing the gym because it's raining and I don't want to a) slip over on my butt on the way down the hill and b) get the free weights area soggy! I've got kickboxing tonight, so I might cope without the extra gym bits today!
Weekend consisted of shopping - buying things that are too small because I'm up 7lbs from the 3 days of eating like a :ink: with my Mum and Dad  However it'll all come out in the wash, I'm sure of it! I also ordered THE DRESS! It's the sparkly one with the lacey halter collar. The shop assistants were saying how good I looked and I'm saying, "No I'm all bloated and fat!" And then they were saying, "Oh well if you look this good in it on a FAT day, then you'll look soooooo much better in it!" Which is true! If it made me feel good on a fat day, it must truly be some dress! ;)
Oh and yesterday I think I slept and ate. That was about it. Oh we went to a farmer's market and got cheese and banana cake. :D
Off for jacket potato with cottage cheese :T yummy! I've missed meal #2 since I was still full of food, so I might have that one later...

My weekend was boring - just listing stuff on eBay and cleaning. The high point was watching the second episode of the new season Doctor Who on Saturday. (Do you get Doctor Who in the US?)
I've done my workout - it was double Cardio today. 20 mins HIIT on the stationary bike followed by 20 mins abs then 20 mins stretches, then a 2 hour walkies with the dogs.
I had the c/c, oats and egg whites pancake topped with hot blueberries for breakfast and some pineapple with C/C for meal 2. I'm going to have a 'Mexican' omlette for lunch - not sure about dinner yet, but I've got chicken breasts defrosted and some nice orange fleshed sweet potatoes (yams?) so I shall try and be creative.

MEL - at 7:15 this morning I was helping DD try to find her other ballet shoe, no success unfortunately, but this moma has to spend some serious time decluttering her house.
I did get to the gym this am for a great LBWO even though the allergies are killing me. The up side to this week is no night meetings, the downside to this week is it is supposed to rain and there goes DD's field day tomorrow.
2 FRU- Loving the whole dress discussion, sounds wonderful and something to look forward to.
SARAH ANN- Love Dr. Who, though I haven't been able to nail down the schedule yet or get it on the DVR, soon I hope.
Food is packed for the day, in fact, feeling like it is time to have something.

Hi all....great weather this weekend here in the DC area, wish it could be humidity free like this all the time. And today, a work day, it's raining. Now that's the way the weather should be....gorgeous on weekends, rainy during the week.
Did UB on Sat, LB on Sun, and UB this morning. Not as much cardio as I would like, but am nursing my right knee, so need to take it easy. Will try to find time for the elliptical at the gym tonight before my client comes.
Mel, everyone's been talking about Thank you for Smoking...I'm going to have to find time to get to the movies to see it.
Fru, so when do we see a picture of what sounds like a fantastic dress?
Silver, yay on the purchases...we, of all people, understand how cool buying new things are...especially when they make us feel good about how we are doing health wise.
Sugar...isn't the pollen awful?!?! It's been so dry in DC, and windy, that my eyes are all puffed up and red.
Susan B--how big a wedding is your DD having? Things must be frantic in your house. Great that you are able to find time to exercise.
I've been reading the Body for Life for Women book and am finding it very inspiring. Lots of good sense ideas to keep me motivated. Since I started the program this weekend, I've been repeating a mantra of...only 3 months...only 3 months....what's 3 months in a lifetime? Hope it works. Of course, that's only the beginning.....
Have a great day all!

Sunday afternoon I ended up doing about 2 hours of apartment cleaning followed by 30 min of cardio kickboxing, squats and some ab work followed by 1 hr of yoga. Great at home workout, I gotta keep recording stuff on FitTV, keeps things interesting and gets me to do something even if I don’t make it to the gym. My quads are pretty tender today, I hope yoga is more ab/upper body focused tonight, I don’t think I could do another squat if my life depended on it.
Can’t wait to see Thank You for Smoking, I’ve heard great things. One of my best friends celebrates her birthday the day after tomorrow and I haven’t gotten her anything yet! Anyone have a good gift idea for a traveler? She’s headed to Israel next month, if I could think of something nice that she would use on the trip that’s an idea. I’m not good at gift shopping, and I always leave it to the last minute…eek!

Morning LWL! We had SNOW  overnight. Not much, and it's raining now, but still - it's May!!
Had a good weekend doing stuff at home. I did get in 3.5 mile walk on Sat, but yesterday went by the board... But I also got lots of paper sorted and stored, bills paid, laundry done, groceries bought, etc. Feel much more ready to face life now.
Liza, the husband of a friend swears by using a Neti pot every day for his allergies - basically you're washing out your nasal passages. It sounds gross, and frankly, is a little, but I've done it for a cold and it does help. You can google it. I know Amazon sells them. Hope you're feeling better.
Gym tonight includes cardio and UBWO. My eating was clean last week except for Friday lunch where my two Friday lunch buddies and I celebrated Cinco di Mayo with some Mexican food - not too bad, just too much.... My weight stayed the same after one week of the challenge. Need to get DH to measure me as that may be a better indication of what's happening.
SB, congrats on the new purchases.
Frus, the same to you on the wedding dress. No way you've gained 7 real pounds in 3 days. They'll be gone soon as long as you don't invite their friends to visit.
 to the rest of you. Have a great day, and be thankful it didn't snow where you live!

Hi! I am in my 2nd week of my lifting program which is set up for Mon, Wed Friday. I went to water fitness class at 830 am for an hour that is taught by a trainer that does triathalon training who I love! I want her arms! That was my cardio. I did my routine after water class, and the trainer I have checked in to see if I had any questions. I was doing the bench weight incline thing right. I am learning the lingo or trying to. I increased my reps to 2 sets of 12 for almost everything. I feel great!
Tues at 8am special trainer is doing a Advanced Hydro-Conditioning class where they combine water exercise and plyometrics ( I will have to look that up) I will attend that instead of working out on my own in the water for Tuesday. The club is also starting a new class this week that is called Upper Cuts which is to improve strength is in the chest, back and upper arm muscles. The goal is toned, sculpted and strong upper bodies. I am going to try that. It is on Wed.
I don't know where the weekend went.... I did work in the flowers in the yard. I did go Sunday morning to work out on my own in the pool and then to Sams Club in my quest to consolidate trips. Its either that or slow down at 2.95 a gallon. I need my 6 pack of Romaine lettuce, gala apples, berries and a salmon. My food plan is fairly well on track. The package of cookies my husband asked for ( he weighs the same thin weight 26 years ago when we married) is on the highest shelf of decorative pottery in the kitchen so they are out of sight and hard for me to reach...
I saw that Dr. Who was remade. You English gals! Love all the names that differ from the States. When I was there, I went to Harrods food hall and tried eveything that I had read about in English novels. Such as a Scotch egg. I was on holiday as you say!

One of my lbs has left the building! I told it to clear off and never bring its friends round here ever again! ;)
I got into Box splits last night! :hyper: From legs out infront to out to the sides - I did have an instructor pushing on my legs :D I'm going to try the conventional way tonight to see if I can get there from "above"
Hopefully off to the gym at lunch if it's not too wet to run down, then a run and some proper kickboxing training tonight. It's getting round to belt-test time, roll on Green Belt! :D

Morning Ladies (and any Gents who are reading).
It was an UBWO day for me - and my shoulders are telling me all about it! Followed by my normal 20 mins stretches, breakfast and then the usual 2 hour walk with the dogs. It was a perfect day for walking - sunny but not hot with a 10 mph cool wind. (Well.... its perfect for me!)
I was hoping to drag DH to the gym this afternoon but I woke up with a mysterious rash - bright, bright pink and puffy - and its spreading fast - so far its everywhere except my face. It doesn't hurt at all but it looks awful - and clashes dreadfully with my baby pink w/o clothes!

Sarah, hope the rash is under control.
Pat, snow! Well, at least it gives you something to talk about.
Star...let us know more about the hydro conditioning class. It sounds really interesting. Tell us more.
Silver....well, I bought and tried sardines, tho' I didn't get them in oil. Yuk! They were very mushy. Is that the way they're supposed to be? I also bought herring in white wine sauce, and that was really good. Is herring supposed to be good for you as well?
Woke this morning at 2:30, and was really pi**ed as it meant at least an hour lying there before falling back to sleep...and then I wouldn't have time after waking the second time to work out. So...at 2:45 I got up and did my lower body workout...45 minutes worth. Felt great, and I was pleased that I could then sleep in and not worry about not being able to get a workout in. However, I am hoping not to make a habit of it.
Have a great day all!

Is sneezing for an hour between 3 and 4 am considered Upper Body or ab workout. My allergies are brutal this week. Never made it out of the bed to get to the gym either.
PAT - If you have snow, does that mean you have no allergies??? I know about the Nedi pots, after all I live in Cambridge, the birthplace of alternative everything, but again, it is a matter of time and energy. Actually it makes sense to me more than sounding gross, just have a fear of drowning myself.
SARAH - Your rash sounds like something I got about 9 years ago, the doctor said "Holey Moley!" when she saw it, now is that a medical term?? Anyway, turned out it was a reaction to the Vitamin E I was taking. My father and I figured it out, he got a reaction on his tongue and in his mouth when he started the Vit E therapy. It may not be the E itself but the gel cap or filler, anything like that change for you?? anyway, now I take an antioxident from Trader Joe's and it is fine with me. Added to my almost daily wheat germ and I think I got it covered.
SUSAN - You are the clever girl doing your workout when you woke up rather than worrying about waking up later. I could do that too. In my house they sleep like rocks.
Off to an appointment, hoping they don't mind a red eyed land use planner.

Hi LWL,
Only tuesday, and I'm already up to my neck in all kind of stuff that is NOT good for me..
Luckily i DID manage to get in my 1 hour power class yesterday. i already know that I won't be able to make it to the gym tomorrow, so I plan to work out at home.
Allergies abound here as well. the air is heavily loaded with pollen. i keep taking drops in my eyes & use a spray for my nose. Apart from that there is just a lot of stress...work related, XH related and DS-at-school related. i try not to let it get to me.
pat - how awfull to have snow!!! We are in a sunny dry spell here. I actually swam in my pool on sunday!!! The water is now 21 - 22 C, so just barely doable ( I was born & raised up to my 14th in the carribean, so if coral does not grow in it I find the water cold)

2Fru - I love that dress, you absolutely shine in it. And congrats on the pound down!
All of you suffering from allergies, my heart goes out to you. Growing up in Wisconsin I battled allergies and allergy medication side effects all spring and summer long. I used to wake up every morning with my eyes crusted shut, a sore throat and my nose running like a faucet (gross! I know). I took Seldane for a long time, but I think Claritin is much more common these days? And Sarah Ann that rash sounds awful, I wouldn’t be surprised if allergies were to blame.
The pool at my gym has been closed for a week and half now and not reopening till Monday. Some sort of plumbing repairs going on in the locker rooms. No swimming or water aerobics again for me this week.
Yoga was merciful last night, just me and 3 new people in the class so nothing too strenuous. Oh, and I leaned a new position that reallllly stretches the quads (a version of the pigeon pose), I sure needed it! My quads are still pretty sore today, but I’m a big baby like that. Squats hate me. I know squats are pretty much the best lower body exercise out there, but do they really need to hurt this much? By the way, what do you all do for inner thigh strengthening? I’ve yet to find an exercise that I really like for that.
Scale has been stagnant for weeks, but I’ve been a little too lax a little too often so I know what that’s about. I’ve been doing pretty well with the workouts, but get me outside my own kitchen and I seem to have no will to control my eating. *sigh* I think I’m one of those people that has to get the eating right 90% of the time to lose at all, 80% just won’t cut it.

Well I'm recovering from kickboxing! I managed some pretty good kicks last night and I taught some little monkeys how to do front kicks! They were ok, but I think doing the same thing over and over bores them and then they were kicking the wall and spinning around and doing all sorts of silly things!!
Feeling nice and worked out - a feeling that's been missing for a week, and boy did I miss it!!! Got the gym planned for after work, chest and tris today, then we're off to see some live music at a pub. Eating's looking on plan so far, looking forward to my rhubarb, oats and cottage cheese!

Well done, Art Susan, on having a go! :balloons: Sardines can vary. No, they're not meant to be mushy. (But ... really top quality ones are held back by the canners to mature for a year or two.) If they're mushy, I mash them with paprika or cayenne pepper and have them on toast. Mmm, herring. Glad you liked them. They certainly are good for you: chock-full of omega 3 oils, very low in calories and high in protein. I had some last night. They were maatjes herring from the Netherlands. We had a Viking meal last night (remember I'm living with an almost 6 year old!). Cured herring, hunks of freshly baked bread, pickled dill cucumbers and a few other veg. Perhaps not strictly echt but pretty good all the same.
Just back from the doc. I decided to put in an hour's walking rather than drive straight there. The plan was to keep my mind off an internal examination. It worked very well!
Thanks for your shopping praise! I'm wearing the (rather cool) black linen trousers this morning. They do a really good job of skimming over the dubious part of my bottom and thighs.
Better get back to work. Things are piling up.
Have a good day today. Pace yourself!

Hi LWL,
Frus - thanks for the tip! Pool is now 23 C, I am stiff from working all morning, so I might get out & take a dip. on the other hand... I FINALLY got a stretch of nice, undisturbed time... so I finally can get some long overdue work in!
Silverbirch - Good for the viking meal!! A detail of the dutch herring that might appeal to your 6 year old (people who gross out easily DO NOT READ FURTHER). If they are the herring like the dutch eat them, this is actually a raw gutted herring, where the herring is partly digested by it's own stomac juices because they take care to hit these when taking the guts out. SAFE TO READ FURTHER. I like raw herring a lot.
Good for you to wear the black linnen trousers! And how could any part of your bottom and thighs be ever considered dubious!!?? That is just proto-toned skin & muscle there!

I think it's funny how different we all are...I just hate lunges and love squats! Especially sumo squats, with legs wide and feet turned out.
For additional inner thigh work I lie on my back, put my legs up in the air with the heels together, and then bring them slowly up and down in a kind of frog movement. I also lie on my back with legs bent, feet on the floor, take a ball or pilates ring and put it between my thighs and squeeze and hold, relax, then squeeze and hold, etc. for about 20 repetitions, then raise my body into a bridge and do the same exercise. Hope these help.

That sounds like exactly what I need, thanks for the suggestion! I've been thinking about getting one of those little tiny pilates balls, wonder if they have them at Target?
It was my dear friend’s birthday yesterday so we celebrated by having a few pints at the Daily Pint. Mmmm...Chimay. But I only ate 1/4 of a cupcake and burned a few calories playing shuffle puck  so that should count for something. OK not really, but eating is back on track today.

Morning all (well, just as it's about 2 minute before noon here) :) Spent all day yesterday in a training session which was good, but held in a basement room with no natural light, and all that sitting...... arghhhhh! Left there and went straight to the gym for a good elliptical workout. Felt much better. Soon it'll be consistently warm enough to bike. I found a book on a 7 week bicycle fitness program, which I may try once I have my, um, seat broken in for the season.
Rabbit, you sound better today. I love the idea of coral in the pool! An outdoor pool is out of the question, of course, but my mother-in-law in Massachusetts used to have one, and we sure enjoyed it when we were there.
Frus, good job on the gym/kickboxing. Love the dress, you'll be a gorgeous bride.
Susan/Artmaker, you are a better woman than me! I doubt if I'd do a workout at 2:30 am under any circumstances! ANd I too much prefer squats to lunges. I have to do lunges very carefully so I don't torque my knees.

Did my chest and tris yesterday :D I'm feeling like I'm really getting back into the groove :dancer: I even had my MP3 player on while I was cooking last night and I was dancing around the kitchen to "I like to Move It!" (thanks SB's boy ;) )
I've got to get my triceps in working order for 2 hours of punching :faint: This morning it was a struggle to reach the alarm clock!
Pat - have you tried cushioned cycle shorts? I used to swear by mine! Hoping to get my pushbike down to this metropolis so I can break out the bike shorts again! :o
Oh this might be helpful to some peeps over here... This morning I fancied some oats and cold milk, but was wary about the amount of carbs, so as I was pottering around the kitchen I saw my tub of dried milk... Well, 1/2 C oats, 1/4 C dried milk and 1/2 C skimmed milk made me an extra-creamy 25% protein cereal breakfast! YAY! :dancer: And the dried milk mixes really easily with the ordinary milk, much better than a protein powder would. I suppose not good for lactose intolerants, but for me - I'm  loving it!

Well, I'm not going to say this too loudly as I'm afraid to jinx myself, but I saw a new pound loss, one I haven't seen in months. I've been sooo good this week....cutting out any excess, and doing my version of the BFL every day, adjusting to accommodate my knee problems. I have been known to screw up at this point...as if it's too scarey to be successful!
OK Silver, trying a new kind of herring today. The herring in wine sauce was so good; today I am trying smoked herring, in a salad. Trouble is, it is so fishy smelling that I am going to feel like I "reek" of it all day.
This morning was supposed to have a 7 am client, so woke at 5 and did my upper body workout, along with 20 minutes cardio. The client didn't show, so I ended up coming to my other job early. That's the trouble with personal training for a gym....you get so many "no shows" who don't even call that it is frustrating. It may be the socio-economic level of the clients who frequent our gym...I don't know...whatever the reason, I value myself too much to continue with this...working at a gym may not be the answer for me for my next career when I retire.
Glad you're getting your "grove" on fru, way to go! Is there such a thing as dried lactose milk? If so, I'd like to know, as regular milk products make me unbearable to be near.
Have a good day all!

I'm sorry I've been so scarse but I have been reading and I had to recommend a great bicycle seat for your seat Pat  I have one similar to this one and it makes a world of difference when you bike, you can add padded shorts but I don't find them necessary with this seat... I bought mine at a bicycle shop a few years ago, but I see they sell them in regular hardware stores, they have them at Canadian Tire here, I'm not sure what the equivalent of that store would be in the States...

Mandated to clear up the office today as there is a tour coming through next week. Blah. Good for some heavy lifting and squats I'd say.
Hoping DH can be around at lunchtime - would love to go to the Portuguese restaurant, our favorite place, for some seafood.
SHANA - Thanks for the allergy sympathy, I am still suffering even though it is raining out, I am assuming everything inside the office and house are well coated at this point. The sore throat is the worse and I will exercise through anything but that for reason.
I should have gotten up and gone to the gym this morning, some alarm was going off in the next block for about an hour, never did determine where it was.
Food is rocky for a couple of days, but overall, I know I feel better so I am going to keep focused on the clean eats. Ran out of strawberries, boohoo, lucky for me I work very close to a whole foods, so I can stop on the way to pick up DD.
2FRU - Glad to see the pounds are hitting the road and you are kicking them on their way. Thinking of cushioned bike shorts for DH's Father's Day present, but I know for a fact, he would never wear them. LOL. I am liking the powered milk idea a lot and I have some always around to add to things, I am such a milk hater.

Hi All -
Had a nice day off from exercise yesterday. 2 wednesday evenings a month I meet with a group of 9 women who enjoy quilting and other handwork. In theory of course, we are doing that, in reality we are just enjoying an evening with friends. We have such a good time - lots of chatter and laughing. We've been together (with a few in/few out) for over 5 years now. So I took it as my "a little lax" food day too.
Today, I'm back to my version of BFL. Eating clean, weights and light cardio tonight. Tomorrow I have to figure out what to do. Friday nights DH and I usually go square dancing, which is fun and movement, but certainly not to the level to classify it as cardio. However, it's also the local Relay for Life walk (Cancer Society fundraiser). As many of you know, DH is a cancer survivor and we will be there for a dinner and he'll do the first lap, which is to honor survivors. I have a lunch meeting, so can't work out then. It's looking like I should get up early and get in some cardio in.
Re: bike seats I have both the padded shorts and the special "female" seat. I still take a week or more to get comfortable. I don't understand how an area with so much padding naturally can get so sore. First however, I need a little warmer weather. I expect I can be riding regularly by next weekend.
Liza - hope your allergies are doing better. I don't usually have any problems though something this year is "tickling" my nose and I've been sneezing a lot. No other symptoms though, so I'm just living through it. :)
 Have a great day everyone!

Hi LWL,
Another week of "mental-cardio" for me. i am too tense to do the real thing, but I am making progress in not being pushed into things that i do not want. But is is stressfull. As you know i have several balls to keep up in the air with related stressors: work -procedural stress, work-content related stress, DS school-stress and of course a running divorce which is now heading to court as XH is uncooperative. Well, the good thing is that I managed to shove the work-procedural stress to someone else, managed to take some action in DS scholl issue, managed to shove the divorce stuff to the lawyer and I am now shoving the work content related stress.
With that out of the way I might even begin to live again. I was very close to tears many times in the past week, and I do know I have to defend myself against a lot of persons that are sucking my energy out of me. I find it a hard and difficult lesson to learn to say NO thanks, I am not going to do that.
I find it great to read all the other posts, but I cannot react to them now. I never fail to be impressed with all the commitment going on to live our lives. I found a great motto from Robin on the maintainres thread, something in the line of "the week will happen anyway, so the only thing to do is to handle it and get it over with". And I'm doing just thet.
have a great day all,
rabbit

Hi Frus, Thanks. A new issue has just come up. XH is of course disputing my claims to the court. He is dragging the chhildren in. So they will have to go with me on Wednesday, and I will have to discuss this with them.
On the positive side, at least a judge will now decide on wether I can be held responsible for the children not wanting to see the new partner of their father. On the negative side, it feels like one additional stressor. I am getting knocked out here.
I'm going to sit in the sun and eat strawberries.

What a total :censored: your xh doesn't sound like he cares much for his children! Just MHO!!! Fancy dragging them into it. What a total :censored: Like they haven't got enough to deal with! I'm incensed on your behalf! I think I need to go sit in the sun with some strawberries now too! ;)
And yes, at least it is a good thing that your kids can put forward their view on the whole situation, which I think can sometimes not be considered. I hope everything turns out ok and runs as smoothly as possible.

 LWL! It's Friday! and payday for me.
Had a good full body workout last night. While this was a Power Pump class, there were no pink, girlie weights! For UB I used the same amount I do on my own. Legs, I think I need to add weights. I've just been doing squats and lunges with body weight, and I can definitely up the amount for deadlifts. And when I go to this class I work my abs sooo much more than on my own. All in all, nicely sore this morning.
We figured out that the Relay for Life is next Friday (goodness we're dangerous around calendars lately - I went to a dentist appt a week early too!) but I still decided to move my rest day to today, and do cardio on Sunday (which was the scheduled rest day). Eating is going well. I love it when you can get in a groove and things click along icely.
Well, since they paid me, I ought to do some work for my employer.

Rabbit – What 2Fru said, your XH sounds unbelievably petty and selfish. Seems like you are the resident expert at juggling multiple sources of stress! Take care of yourself, good luck with that whole court thing.
I went to the gym last night and had a nice 40 min session on the elliptical and did upper body lifting. I think I should maybe increase my UB to 2 x a week, I’m not properly sore like I should be and I put in a good 40 min session. It’s hard for me to move up to the next weight on the dumbbells because they’re 5 lb increments. I can use the 15 lb for bicep curls, but 20 is way too much right now. How does everyone else deal with that?
I got myself some little herb plants at the farmers market today so I can start a potted herb garden on my balcony. I love using fresh herbs in cooking but whenever I buy them at the market most of it goes bad before I get to use it all and it seems so wasteful. This way I get it as fresh as possible by just pruning away the portion I need for immediate use, and no waste!
Hope all you ladies have a fabulous weekend.

Happy Friday everyone. Rabbit, in spite of all the frustration and stress yo have right now, it sounds like you are hanging in there and taking care of yourself. Passing things on to other people is just what you need to do right now. And you are being there for your kids and yourself....the most important people in the scene right now. Keep exercising to get that stress level down and don't let the X pull your strings...they're really good at that, take it from one who knows. Remember, no matter what happened in the past, he wants to make you into the bad guy so he can justify his actions.
Today I was operating on 5 hours sleep, and was faced by bagels at work....I did indulge, but I stayed sane, and kept my caloric count where it should be. Just didn't get to eat the great stir fry I had brought for lunch. Do I regret it? No....it's been ages since I had a nice chewy bagel and pb, and it was worth it, especially since I maintained control. But tomorrow I will be super good and make sure I get my greens and my protein.
My sister, niece, and fiance are coming from Boston this weekend...since both of the women are trying to lose weight, I am going to have a "spa" weekend for them...with fresh squeezed juice and lots of healthy fruits, veggies and protein, and morning workouts at my gym. Just call my house "Chez Suzannah"! Should be fun.
Hope everyone has sunny skies, great eating, and good workouts.

Hi LWL,
Frus, Shan, Susan - thanks for the support!. I was really stressed out yesterday, but i am much better today. Took an extra pill yesterday afternoon... I really needed it!
I was so stressed out yesterday morning that I forgot to turn of the lights of my car, so it did not start when I wanted to get DD from school. at that moment my friend called that she was late to pick up her D from school, as she was stuck in a malfunctioning parking garage! I ended by me phoning school that she would be along later to pick up the kids, and subsequently I started my car from her battery. So victory there, i got in a mess but i got out again!!!
Went out to a show in the school with my kids yesterdayevening & had a good time. I still can feel i am stressed, but not panicky anymore. And the good thing is that once the judge has ruled on the visitation rights, at least XH will stop about that I think. I looked it up and this type of courst session does not have an appeal possibility! That leaves only the finanacial settlement for the next court to rule. This could be over in 3 months.
Susan - "Chez Suzannah" sounds real fancy! Have a great time!
I'll try to get some yoga in today.
have a great day all,
