OMG guys! This has been a hellish week! I sprained my elbow, we had thunderstorms for three days straight and my internet has been down since Wednesday! I HATE CHARTER!!!! Everyone, never get Charter internet! You could throw a tampon at their wires and your **** will be down for a month!! I missed you guys SO much! I'm so sorry I haven't been able to get on. Charter is still down but my friend let me get on her AOL so I can post to you all. I'll go collect the weigh ins for last week and post them. Everyone post your current weigh ins for this week here, k? I really missed you all. You're my inspiration! When I have more time, I'll explain in detail about the last few days. My weigh in for this week is 245.....I think that's like .8 from last week. Love you guys and sorry again! :hug: I'll post again as soon as I can!

Okay here's our list so far....btw I only lost .25 which is still a surprise considering how I totally pigged out this week. Pain meds will do that to you! As always, if I got something wrong, just tell me! And I'll try to post again tomorrow. Love ya!

Hey Shari! Sorry about your elbow, that sucks. I hate it when I have puter problems. I feel like apart of me died when I cant get to the puter LOL Sad, but true. Hope everything gets fixed soon....elbow...puter lol

Purplecrush, great job on the 30lbs lost (did I do the math right?) That's awesome!
LaBonita, good job on your loss this week. I keep reading around here that the body gets used to the same exercise so it's good to do something a little different? Maybe a little boost of cardio even. That's what helps me.
Ok I have to vent. You know when you start exercising and the metabolism starts working and the appetite increases. I have that right now. I am soooo hungry right before and after lunch. But I stick it out and don't give in. At least not yet. I exercise 5 days a week and feel great but all that exercise is starting to make me hungry! What to do? Suggestions?
I'd appreciate the help

Look at how much you take in. If you're hungry, eat. Just make it healthy and watch the portions.

Annie, have you tried eating 6 smaller meals (i.e. breakfast/snack/lunch/snack/dinner/snack?)...this lets your body know that it won't be starving and will constantly keep your metabolism revving (along with your exercise of course). I have only begun to listen to my body's hunger cues and I can usually know what time of day it is when I need a snack. For example, if I eat breakfast at 6 a.m., I will feel hungry for a snack right around 10:30 a.m. I eat my snack, lunch will usually be around 12 or 12:30, then around 3 I will eat another snack, then dinner between 5 or 6, then a small snack about 7:30 pm. By snacks I mean healthy things like fruits, veggies or yogurt or something that is wholesome and nutritive. Just my 2cents. :D

Same thing happens to me. I had a gym membership for 6 months or so. Worked my butt off four times a week but ALWAYS left there starving. I never lost any weight. I wasn't 100% on any diet but did lose some inches. Hope to start another membership the end of the summer:carrot:

Hey Everyone! Sorry I've been MIA...been in a funk the last few days....Must be feeling better 'cause i'm talking up a storm to everyone....driving the men i work with crazy. :)
I had my official WI on Sunday after two weeks (didn't WI on Easter). I was down 2.4 from two weeks ago but up .8 from my home WI on Easter. So I'm at 199.6 now. I'm setting my MD goal at 187 which is 12.6 lbs from this past Sunday.

So recently I've rediscovered flavored water and OMG I am so in love! After drinking nothing but water and 1 water with crystal light every day flavored water tastes like some sugary drink to me. This has to be bad, even if the sweetener isn't aspartame and it says 0 calories. Also, been drinking 1 diet pepsi everyday, which is bad. Anyone think the flavored water will work against me?

Chicky, I LOVE flavored water!!! My fave is Dasani flavored water. I haven't tried those CL flavor packs but I heard they are good. I don't think flavored water will work against you. It is WATER after all! I LOVE diet Pepsi even though it is bad. I've been cutting back on that. I've discovered Vault Free, which has no sugar or calories. Has anyone tried it?

I hate flavored water!!! I'll take plain water over flavored anyday. I don't think it is that bad if there are no calories. Are there cals in flavored water?
I weighed myself this morning and I was at 225. It's not my official wi but I'm scared it'll be back up on monday. Especially since I'm not eating right and not excercising. Plus this weekend is gonna be really bad. My family is coming over for the weeekend so we'll be eating out alot. On the bright side i'll be walking a lot because I have all these touristy things planned out i.e. georgia aquarium, underground atlanta, etc.
I will be back in full force on monday ready (again) to lose some weight and try to hit my memorial day goal.

Flavored water has no cals in it. I like plain water too but I like to switch it up every so often. :)
Ooooh, this Monday's weigh in is gonna be BADDDD!!! I'm certain I gained. I haven't been walking and my eating has been crappy, either under point or EXTREMELY over point! I wouldn't be surprised if I was back to my starting weight. :( Oh well. Whatever the scale number, I'll just adjust my MDC tracker to fit it. If I let it get me down, I will fall back into depression and my old ways and I REFUSE TO DO THAT!!
Ro, have fun with your family. Oh I love the Underground! I went there during a class trip when I was a junior. We stayed at the Hyatt down the street and walked all over! I took alot of pictures. I always wanted to go back. Someday.
I'm with you! I'm back on with a purpose Monday, no matter what the scale says!

Thank goodness today isn't weigh in day. I've been floating at 175.4 for the last 4 days or so and today my weight went up a little to 176.4. Yesterday I ended up eating 1700 calories because I wasn't careful. I didn't eat anything bad... I just ate alot. A couple days last week I was under 1000 calories for the day and I think it caught up with me. It's not a normal thing that I'm under calories. It's very unusual in fact. I'm sure that lb will be gone by Tuesday morning when I do "officially" weigh in.
I hope everyone's weekend is good. I'm off to go eat some Kashi Go Lean now. Talk to you all later! :D

sorry I've been missing..I've been busy..my daughter's prom is next weekend and her graduation is in 4 weeks so we've been shopping and trying to get things all ready....just got in grad invites and going to be busy today folding and stuffing..wow it's alot of work...
anyway I had a few bad days of eating this week and missed a few days of exercise but I'm back on track and doing good..
I love flavored water...all I drink is crystal light...I only drink water when I'm at the gym or when we go out to eat..It hasn't effected my diet any..

Hello everyone,
So today is my weigh in day and I stepped on the scale and I'm down 2lbs. So that's good.
I love that flavored water called Vitaminwater. mmm. But I don't drink it anymore because I think it has suger in it. So I stick with water. Plain ol' water.

Hey ladies. Ive been MIA also for part of the week. Its been so nice outside, I cant get myself to stay in the house!!! On Friday it got up to 81!! Here..in Oregon...I was shocked!! I think tomorrow its going to be nice too, so I might take a mile up to Walmart and Linens and Things. Im redoing my kitchen so its Cherries and everything is going to be RED!! Im having so much fun finding red things. Today im just being lazy. We are all still in our jammies. We have been so busy with my sons practices and games 3 times a week. Yesterday we had to go to a game, shopping, and 2 birthday parties, so today im worn out. I had a April challenge I was doing~to lose 10 lbs in april~ well Im 2 lbs from my goal, so I only lost 8, but im happy !!!

Oh.. I love flavored water too! I dont really like plain water too much, I love the Crystal light fruit punch! YUM!!!
