Hiya!! I just joined WW tonight... and my goal is to lose 109 pounds (ultimately) although we're going 10 pounds at a time, and aiming high for my 10% goal (24 pounds!)

I'm going to need LOTS of support over this first week especially!

hi, welcome! it seems daunting at first, but you have the right idea. small goals = big ones. a little at a time. and don't worry, i had a hard time my first week, too. but once i stepped on the scale and saw the results, it was a lot easier to keep going. you can do this!

Thanks Rahkstar! I've got a game plan for this week! I'm setting daily goals, in hopes that I'll stay on track better!

Jeanne, Thanks for the welcome I agree that putting it on paper is important! I think it helped me to succeed yesterday!

Yesterday I wrote down EVERYTHING that went in my mouth and calculated the points BEFORE it went in. That helped me to stay on track, or so I like to think

Default It's Going Slower

I'm not complaining though - a loss is a loss and as long as I'm going in the right direction - DOWNWARD - I'm not going to get bent out of shape.

I lost 1 lb this week and that's still 4 sticks of butter.

Good morning all. This is my first time to post here but I've been on the other boards. I started in January at 224. My goal is to lose 104 to be down to 120. When I started I didn't think to set small goals for myself but as my journey has progressed I've decided to set goals of 10 or 15 each. It's helped me. So far I've lost 24.4lbs. So i'm almost a 1/4 of the way to my ultimate goal. I think to me the first 25 have been the hardest. Usually by now I've given up. This time though, with support from my friends and family, and 3FC gang I'm doing this. I will not give up this time.

Looking forward to chatting more with ya'll later.

Chrissy, Small goals are definately great! I think part of why I failed so much in the past was because I kept staring at that HUGE number!! Now I try not to think about it at all... and so far, so good!

Jeanne, have a great night at work

Today I'm doing good!! I tried one of the Smart Ones meals, and for the first time I didn't like it. I normally love them, so that was odd! But I only ate half of it, so I'm trying to figure out how to count the points...
