Good morning ladies...
I was up at the crack of dawn and have nothing to do today except clean house...and that can wait for now, lol! :p I am so tired of cleaning house!
Who is playing with their marshmallows?! You ladies crack me up!
KATY...I think I would have cancelled the MySpace also. DD said there's usually nothing but lots of teen girls flaunting their bodies for a lot of pervs. Very sexy, suggestive pictures of young girls-said there's nothing but ho's & pervs. She frequents a couple of music threads and apparently everyone knows this. She said a good place to journal is LiveJournal dotcom. Can't remember if that is what you were wanting to do or not..journal that is.
ELLEN...nothing yet on the house. I had a call Monday for a showing Tuesday but couldn't do it. Told them Thursday would be a better day. Apparently they weren't that interested because they didn't call back. Talked to our realtor and wanted to know what the feedback was. Apparently, the majority thinks it is too small. Which I don't understand...because it states the sq. ft. of the house on any and all paperwork they look at. Maybe if we take all the furniture out of the house it will look bigger, lol! Whatever...if we sell, we sell. If not, then whatever. I'm not stressing over it any longer. I think the right person will come along because there is a buyer for every house. It may take a while but whatever. So, until this one is sold the new one is basically on hold. Loved the prayer! I copied it and will put it in my weight loss journal and make a copy for the fridge.
GINNY...you're correct in that you never get over it. When DH#1 was killed I had someone ask me a few month's later how I got over it. What? I told her you never get over the loss of a loved one, never. You take things one day at a time and learn how to deal with it. But you never get over it. Anyway, I definitely think that all the stretching at work accounts for something. Besides you have been doing so well with all your bike riding I think it's okay to skip a day, especially if you had a day like you had at work. Oh, about Connie's surgery...I think it was on the first page of the last thread. She's having it done April 20.
ANGIE...count me in as another who is 'lost' about the show Lost! I heard on the radio once, someone was saying they didn't understand how the fat guy is still fat with being 'lost' on an island with no food! I think that is the only thing I have ever heard about the show.
MINDEE...yes, they do grow like weeds! I can't believe how much time has gone by and the ages of my kids, seems like yesterday they were little guys. Jason is 25 (will be 26 in July), Josh is 24, and Carrie is 22! YIKES! Makes me feel old sometimes.
SUSAN...crossing my fingers you get that bonus! :crossed: And good for Doug for stepping up to the plate and admitting he was wrong. That is a step in the right direction.
Hi to everyone else!
Well, as I said above, nothing much to do today. Going to go look up a few things online since I was up early and have the whole day to get things done. V and I were talking about our anniversary trip and I thought he was taking more time off. Well, he's only got Friday, Sat. & Sunday so no trip to Branson. That would be a total waste of time. Would spend one day driving down there, one day there and a day to drive back. :nono: So, going to go look up a few local things that are only a two hour drive away. One of those being a casino. Need to get something reserved because it is fast approaching! Anywho...chat with ya later!

nothing really new here today....the weather is nice so we are going to take the boys for a walk in a little bit!
Ginny~ Right now, we live in Harbor Beach. We are moving to New Baltimore at the end of this month.
Cristina~ I can't believe how fast my boys are growing up. It makes me nervous that in three short years, Brandon will be starting kindergarten.

Good morning,
Ellen, I wasn't grumpy last night but this morning could be a different thing. Im trying to blow a cheerio out of my nose...Thanks alot Susan...grrr ok thats my fault I was eating breakfast and reading the posts...my fault I choked laughing so hard.. I could say this is how you really loose weight,,,eating your food through your nose!
I have a rule that both boys have 2 chore to do a day. empty dishwarsher/garbage or cleaning their bathroom. Tanner's job was to empty the dishwasher 2 nights ago,,,he didn't. So I told him he would have to last night, he didn't. Hes grounded. No computer 1 week.
Christina, I got sick of cleaning the house too. Do you have alot of furniture in the house? All the shows Ive watched they remove almost half the furniture to give the look of more space.
Katy, I was watched Paul Zahn (think I spelt her name right) and she did a big story on MySpace. Scared me,,,there is a high rate of pedophiles on there.
well off to work I go,,,
I owe I owe off to work I go.

Back again...:D
MINDEE...have fun at the park! I can't believe the temps here...supposed to reach 90 today! And be in the high 80's up to 90 for the next week! Too soon for those temps but this morning would have been great for a walk at the park.
ANGIE...you know...I don't know what happened but the kids had chores to do and did up until I moved here. Kind of threw things off kilter when I met V and when Jason went off to Virginia for college. So it was just me, Josh and Carrie and while they still did some chores I let a lot slide. Had to redo the whole schedule/chore thing. Then they got older and basically now all I ask of them is to keep their room clean, their bath clean and what ever mess they make, clean it. I have to get on to them sometimes but for the most part they get it done. Anyway, about the furniture...no we don't have a lot of furniture in the rooms. But...what we have in the dining area and living room is big. And I have an ottoman by the fireplace that I think should go an dpossibly might soon. It would open up that space. The tv really should go to and that would really open up the living room. But...the dining room table and chairs is big also and I can't go our and by a new one just for the sake of making it look smaller. Or wait...could I? Ya know, we are going to have to buy a new one for the other house for the nook in the kitchen and plan on a smaller one. So...maybe we should do that. Anyway...we cleared a lot of extra stuff out of the house and the garage and put it all in a storage unit so the house would show well. It shows well, and people like it, and the colors (which was something I was worried about) but they say it is too small. Anywho...we'll see what happens. Hope you have a nice day at work.
I have gone on strike for the day as far as cleaning. I made the bed, and did a load of dishes and that is all I am doing today! Going to go try and find a tattoo that I like. Told V that's what I want for my BD, but can't figure out what to get. I have been wanting another since I got my first one so two years later...I am finally doing it. I know I am going to put a small yellow ribbon somewhere. Anyway...I'll be back again later, or will I? Hmmmm, not sure now.
Have a good one ladies!

Cristina - I think I'm going on strike, too! Let's all do it...no housekeeping today! Except I really do have to take on some Mt. Washmore as DD had a few accidents last night. I just want to drink some coffee and knit on this shawl.
Well, last night was a long one, but Leigh and I both slept in a little this morning so I'm not dragging too much. Today is my mother's 61st birthday, so I called to wish her a happy one. I took Leigh to swimming lessons, then to New Seasons - yay a new one closer to my house! Now I'm home and pretty tired. Gotta get some rest, as tonight is our Maundy Thursday seder at church which will also by my son's first communion. Can't fall asleep during that! This week is turning out to be a busy one.....
Ciao for now, ladies

Good Afternoon.
You are way peppy Marti, that is not allowed!
I just got in from the meeting and I got my $1000 bonus in hand! yay. I have to go buy walking shoes now. I really want to walk and I couldn't in barefeet and we all know what happens when you are in barefeet?? You get pregnant, and I couldn't afford to get pregnant (or could I?? Hasn't stopped me yet - lol)
blah - blah......I always wanted to be a romance writer.
anyway, hi Mindee. We were about to send out the posse on you! Happy to see you back posting.
My kids don't do chores, I don't know why but they don't. The ex was going to ground Rach from going out Friday night because she didn't want to go to school today. I said " Doug, you can't do that.....she is already grounded for calling me names....." anyway, she did get up and go to school. she is still grounded though.
*sigh* I saw Maintenance Man - we looked across the room at each other but never did talk. I think he is shy. I am sure he adores me. I also saw the other guys who want to go out with me but I keep brushing them off.........I don't want to go out with guys! I have way too on my plate and I am busy eating it. lol
blah - blah.....yummy eggs this morning. HAVE to get the recipe. Also head of HR told me she has a picture of Napolean Dynamite for me. Pretty cool , huh? Head of HR and I have a love for Napoleon. I am sure that will give me job security. lol

ELLEN IS..... SAD.... MAD ......AND IF HER COMPUTER BLEW UP SHE WOULD BE GLAD.
I WAS ON THE LAST SENTENCE OF MY POST, I WAS JUST WISHING KATY'S MOM A HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE. BUT THAT JUST WASN'T GONNA HAPPEN. MY COMPUTER CLOSED ALL THE WINDOWS AS IT SO FREQUENTLY DOES, AND " VOILA " " POOF " IT WAS GONE ALL MY HARD WORK  I NEED TO GO DO SOME CHANTING AND I WILL TRY AGAIN LATER

Got half an hour on my gazelle!! I actually had to dust off the cobwebs on that thing!!! Been way too long since I've got on it. But I have plans to use it and track my time and miles. Half an hour.....2.2 miles. Sure seems like I should have gone farther!
Ginny--How long do you stay on your bike when riding? 8 miles sound fantastic!! I have to ease my way up to the time and miles I want on the gazelle. It's been awhile since I've hopped on that thing. I also plan on tracking my walking today at work. Total my miles by the end of the day.
Susan--I'm so sorry that your DD called you such a horrible name! Good for you for taking the TV out. I thought Doug was more helpful when it came to the discipline of the girls?? Just know we're here to support you. Lots of hugs your way.
Angie--When I start weighing myself, I usually do it once a week. Lately though it seems that I only weigh in once a month. I hate what I see when I get on there! Weighing in everyday would just drive me bonkers. But when I weigh in...I do it on the same day each week or same day each month.
Ellen--Ok...so you ate the whole thing. No big deal. You're watching everything else so you're going to be just fine!:) I bet your house is beautiful. I loved the photos you had posted before and it was gorgeous!! So hurry and post more when you get the chance!
Cristina--Where is Branson? I think a trip for anniversary is so romantic!:D I'm really looking forward to the trip. Jhanai wants me to find her a hoody w/San Francisco written on it. Of coarse I can get her one of those! We will be staying longer than last time. Monday through Friday. I'm all jumpy just thinking about it!!
Katy--That is one reason why I won't let Jhanai sign up for MySpace. She told me that she wouldn't post photos....I don't care, it's too dangerous and she's too young! I have some co-workers whose neice is on there...and they saw photos of her that shocked them. Apparently she's not as innocent as they thought.
Mindee--I had thought Jhanai was lactose intolerant when she was around 2. But it seemed to have tappered off a bit the more she drank....but it was after I switched from whole milk to 2%.
How is everyone else doing?? Hope I didn't miss someone...if I did I apologize!!
Well I need to shower, have lunch, pack a lunch for work and get my day going. I need to stop at Walmart before work to get my last minute Easter stuff.
You all take care!!
Hugs:hug:

HI GIRLS
My son dropped by and fixed some things on my computer so hopefully it stops crashing on me, I was on the very last few words of my post, and it was gone, Its one of those times you put your face in your hands and swallow really hard  Oh well it could have been worse , I might have posted it
HI MICHELLE....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gifWHAT PRETTY COLOURS...THIS FORUM IS BLACK AND WHITE  We missed you ,hope you are feeling better, thought we may have scared you off  there is only one condition to joining this chat group though , YOU HAVE TO CHAT  Jump into our crazy conversations , well that would be Susan's and mine, the other girls are a little more sane  Tell us anything your heart desires we have heard it all :D
HI SUSAN....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gifCONGRATULATIONS FOR GETTING YOUR BONUS, GOOD GIRL.
Now go and get those shoes, what are you getting running shoes, or walking shoes , because you can't walk in running shoes ,and you can't run in walking shoes, so be very specific in what you get. So no lingering glance between you and maintenance man today,NO SPARKS to toast the marshmallows with. that's to bad. Ok Susie lets find you a good man before YOU start populating Oregon again, Remember the plan lose 30 lbs not gain 30lbs. How do I keep you focused. Susan remember this Men are like lawnmowers , they are hard to get started, they give off noxious odours and half the time they don't work, so keep that little bit of information in your back pocket ok :lol:So the diet is going well is it, when should we update our trackers , how about every Monday. This diet is an energy drainer that's for sure, maybe I need some Geritol  I hope you aren't out spending all that money in one place.
HI ANGIE...http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gif That Susan has some imagination all right, can't say even I could have put those thoughts all together  I am a tad concerned though,:lol:Did you manage to get the cheerio out of your nose. I can't say I have ever tried that dieting technique either  I was just teasing about you being grumpy last night  You would think that it would have been so much easier just to unload the dishwasher though , save himself the inevitable, that he knew would be the result. Ever wonder what goes through their minds, no forget that , bad idea  Maybe next time he will do it :no:  Hope your having a good night
HI CRISTI... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gifI think you have the right idea , no sense stressing about something that you have no control over anyway . They like it, they buy it , they don't they won't .For now just enjoy your home ,your garden and the beautiful weather, and the rest will take care of itself. Honestly you would think that people could figure out the size of the room without you having to disrupt your life more than it already is, but what Angie says is true about all the shows taking out half the furniture, I don't know about that though after all you still have to live there, and that just seems unfair somehow. They have the room sizes in the listing so 12x15 is still 12x15 with or without the furniture is it not. :dunno: Well I hope you did what you intended and went on strike as far as the housework for the day, everyone needs a break sometimes..I hope you are having a nice night Cristi.
HI MARTI...http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gifI have been very good about the diet , I am quite proud of myself so far, there has been no cheating since the mouthwatering delectable cheesecake (OK I'm over it now) just a flashback for a second :lol:So your gazelle has been catching dust has it, so is mine, I will be glad when I can dig it out of the spare bedroom/storage room soon. The house has been a slow update ,as you can tell by now, I think my greatest fear is it won't turn out the way I'm hoping it will , I am a little short on confidence these days. I can't believe its Easter this weekend, another year just flying by..I hope you had a great day.
HI KATY....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gif Did you follow through with the strike to and sup coffee and knit  I hope so. Some things you just can't avoid though isn't there, life happens , stuff happens, and then you do laundry  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/13489l6c5zpdew3.gifHAPPY 61ST BIRTHDAY TO KATY'S MOM. This is exactly where I lost my post earlier , I was almost pannicking  the only difference is the post earlier was twice as long, and I am to tired now to fill in everything I said, probably a good thing for you girls  Have a great night
HI MINDEE...http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gif http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/Baby1m.jpgI bet you are getting anxious to get going now, its nice to be settled . I bet the little guys are excited about the Easter Bunny , well I guess just Brandon would be .I know they grow up so fast don't , you blink your eyes a couple of times and they are independent little fellows with minds of their own.
HI TO EVERYONE ELSE....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/blbowlft2.gif I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL, COME BACK SOON AND CHAT , HAVE A GREAT NIGHT
MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB
A LITTLE TOAST
A LITTLE JAM
A LITTLE PIZZA
A LITTLE CAKE
A BOX OF FRENCHFRIES
AND A CHOCOLATE SHAKE
A LITTLE BURGER
ON A LITTLE BUN
AND THATS WHY MARY
WEIGHS A TON
we are taking a breather on packing at least for Thursday. the weather was too nice, so we took the boys for two walks. then went over to my mom's. I put Logan on her baby scale and he was 16lbs. 8oz. I put Brandon on the same scale and he was 28lbs. 15.5oz. So, I am thinking that our analog scale is off, maybe cause Brandon dropped it the other day? I want to get a digital one because I don't like to squint to try and see the numbers.

Good Friday Morning Ladies!
Man, good to sit down for a few minutes finally. Silly DH made an appointment for me to take my vehicle in for servicing at 8 a.m. knowing I don't do mornings! And even though...I was up early enough, I almost didn't get there in time. Anyway, that is taken care of. Then off to Wally World for some black ink and flowers. Then DS's bank, then MickieD's for a quick bite, our bank, tanning, the post office and....HOME! Too much running around first thing in the morning. Anyway, it's done and I am glad it is Friday! Why, I don't know, but I am :D
KATY...I did go on strike yesterday, lol. Of course it didn't last long. I made the bed, did the dishes and a load of laundry but that's all! I put my foot down and said "NO MORE!" Until today of course, have lots of catching up to do. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your Momma! :hb: :woo:
MINDEE...well, at least you managed to get out of the house. And two walks, woohoo! Not only fun for the kids but exercise for you!
MICHELLE...hope you get to feeling better.
MARTI...how do you measure distance on a gazelle? Not familiar with it...I do know what it is and does but that's it. Branson is in Missouri. Here's a link if you want to check it out: (I think I can put this can't I? Not sure of the rules anymore) http://www.branson-missouri.com/ All kinds of stuff to do. When we were there we went to the IMAX theatre twice, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, Silver Dollar City (an amusement park), Dixie Stampede, which is dinner and a show along the lines of Medieval Times but in the deep Sout. Went on the Showboat Branson Belle, which is a cruise on the lake with dinner and a show. And managed to do some shopping at the big Outlet mall they have and miniature golf-we had a great time! That was the second time I had been there. The first time it was just me and the kids before I met V. And I loved it so much I wanted to go back so we did. We are wanting to go again but really need more than just a weekend. They have a lot of new stuff and lots more shows to be seen! Plus a new Titanic Museum. I've always been fascinated with the Titanic. Anyway...WTG on your exercising! :carrot:
ELLEN...yeppers, you are right...a room will still be the same size no matter what we take out of it. So...we think we have emptied enough, jeez! I know they say that people want to envision themselves in the house but come on...we live here now and they can't really expect us to take every thing away. The realtor told us to take away most of the personal stuff, especially pictures. Well, i had a wall of pix on the wall going down th ebasement and we did that. Also, took the ones off the wall in the hall. It just seems stupid to me that people can't come into a house and whether the peoples stuff is there or not, imagine their stuff in the house. I always do that. I don't care what all is in a house I am looking at whether my stuff will fit and where it will go, not their personal stuff. Although, if I see a house that doesn't have pix I tend to think it's a little odd. I thought everyone had some pictures, especially if they have kids. Anyway, yep...if they want it they want, and if not, oh well. I can be happy here, I think. That is until they build something behind us. :yikes:
SUSAN...WOOHOO on getting the bonus! :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: Now, make sure and get those walking shoes! And miss Gaby something cute of course! Speaking of Napoleon...be looking in your mail...
Anywho...HI to everyone else!
Okay, so I didn't clean yesterday :o and now have a showing today at 3 and one tomorrow morning at 10, ugh! I got a call yesterday at 2:10 asking if I could show the house at 3! :yikes: Ummm, don't think so, especially with me being on strike and all, lol. That's what I get. I'm thinking it was the people that wanted to see it Tuesday but I couldn't because we were going to be gone most of the day for V's BD and the dog would be here. Our dog does NOT like people and NO ONE can come in while I am gone! So, I told them I could do it Thursday. Well, I never received a call for an appoinment until Thursday afternoon and am pretty sure it was them thinking anytime Thursday would be good. Well it would have if they had made an appt. and not try to call a half hour before I have to get the dog and go! Jeez louise! So, told them no but could do it at about 6 pm yesterday or today. So they went with today. Blah, blah, blah...anyway...so I need to get off this thing and get the house cleaned  This was supposed to be a quickie but I get to typing/chatting and get carried away. So...I'm going.
Take care ladies and have a GREAT day and weekend!
GOOD FRIDAY
HI CRISTI....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/eastr20.jpgIT is Good Friday and a Good Friday  I was just sitting here enjoying my salad, and you popped up, thank goodness, I was getting mighty lonely. I don't really like the early morning running around either, takes me a while to get my motor going and I'm not talking about the car either  I used to hate those phone calls saying I'm showing houses in the neighbourhood I'd like to show your house , we are 5 minutes away, yeah right. I now that your always supposed to be ready to show, but sometimes it just isn't possible , especially if you have pets to take out of the house, No one wants pets in the house for showings, well easier said than done..I can tell you will be so happy when this is over with, you really are expected to put your life on hold and you do to some extent. Removing everything that means something to you is so unfair, Honestly how empty headed can you be if you can't picture your family living in a house because the seller has family pictures up. I'm sorry that's lame. I am like you I walk in look around redecorate in my mind put my furniture where it should go if it fits and I like it , its mine. I never have a problem looking past other peoples things, because they are just that Other peoples things. ARRRRRGGGGGGg house selling isn't a pleasant task, unless it sells the first week its listed, which rarely happens  Cristi did you ever consider they might build your favourite store ,restaurant hair salon and massage parlor all in one mall within walking distance  Well its a thought  best I could come up with this early  I suppose I had better get doing something I have chandeliers to clean before tomorrow and they take me at least 2 to 3 hours each :( I will poke in from time to time, because my fingertips will need a break. I think I need Wheaties to get this job done. salad just doesn't cut it in the big leagues . but salad I had and that's it  :tired: So have a nice day , chat later.

Good Morning -
I am here! I am starving.
I got Napoleon Dynamite air freshener in my mail yesterday! Thank you Cristi! Where did you find it? I haven't opened it yet but he smells so yummy. lol THANKS, best gift I ever had!!
I will weigh Mondays if you want Ellen. I usually weigh on Saturdays but it will give me extra time to lose, I guess. Actually I weighed this AM and am stuck on 175 so I need all the extra time I can get. btw- Gaby loves all your cute clip art!
Plan B in Easter Egg Hunting for Gaby tomorrow. I need to make sure we have rain gear, can't believe a storm is coming into town. Puts a damper on things - hahaha. Anyway, WIGGLES on Sunday, I can't wait!
I need to get Gaby a whole new wardrobe Cristi. I plan to do that. I also want to get her to the mall and snap a pic with the Easter bunny tomorrow.
I called CS and she talked with Mike Wednesday. She said he never mailed the support because he was in the hospital. I almost started laughing because he lies so bad. I don't believe for one second he has been in the hospital. This is the 3rd time he has lied, saying he was/or did put support in the mail. Now he says he will mail something everyday (whatEVER.....he didn't say support, he said "something"....lol ). The worker is going to give him til next Tuesday and if nothing comes in she will suspend his DL.
blah - blah. I think I will go cash payroll and get something to eat. Chat later!

Susan, I had to laugh yesterday I had a customer named Nepoleon, I asked him if people say Dynomite to him,,,he was older and said ya,,,he hadn't seen the movie.
Glad you got your bonus, go get your walking shoes...
Christina, put the yellow ribbon around your ankle. Do you find some people can't see past the furniture in the house they are looking at? Personally I am looking at walls, and the layout, I don't look at the color of the walls or carpet, cause I know I will be redoing it all anyways. about 15 years ago, I was working at Safeway, and I had a customer come through my checkout, he looked at me,,,did a double look then asked me if my parents were selling their house. Well yes they are I said. He they replies that he had viewed their house and had seen my grad picture,,,I think that was creepy,,,to be looking at the pics on the walls that closely. Good for you going on strike! I did that a couple of days ago,,,I spent the night sewing costumes for Tanner's play. Rat child that he is,,,then had the gall to say,,,well you didn't do anything yesterday either! WHAT? Anyways he did do the dishwasher, emptied and filled it. He will have to put the clothes in the dryer.
Marti, good for you and your gazell, ours is buried deep in a room right now and hopefully we can pull it out and actually use it.
Ellen, gotta love the computer...the computer is your friend...be one with the computer...lol
not much happening today, I plan to watch Walk the Line,,,do a load of laundry...cleaned all the bathroom yesterday. Going to Sylvan for Easter dinner.
talk with you all later

Hi ladies,
Ellen your clipart again is so pretty, love the colors. Wow two chandaliers.
I am home this afternoon, as us girls only work half a day on Good Friday, started it when I had the boys home, we'd color our eggs and read about the reason for Easter and just spend time together. Even though there is no boys home, we still take it off. I had/have a lot to do this afternoon, so far I would say I am 2/3 done. Dh and I are going out to dinner tonight. It's our last Friday having to eat fish, so we are going out for some. Last year we went out every Friday, this year we just realized we haven't gone out even once so tonight is the night. We are only having our Ds #1 and #4 over for Easter dinner. DS#1's lady friend is so wierd, actually she is just cheap. She is divorced and has 4 children, one still lives with her. One lives with the father and is in town. The other two are out of town. One isn't coming home the other is. But get this, she is going to her sister's for dinner so she can see her kids...duh....there is just the one coming from out of town. I suggested to her that maybe she should make a dinner at her house, my son would not mind, * they live together* what can I say.. they are both adults.. anyway, they now are living in a house so they have plenty of room. Get this, if she has the dinner at her house her sister wouldn't come, *she never even asked her sister* she just knows how she would react... truth is she don't want to have to buy the food for a meal for everyone.. but get this again... my son won't go to her sister's because they make him feel very unwelcome... they blame him for her divorce.. but that isnt' the way it happened.. anyway these people claim to be such good Christians, yet they act so judgemental and mean... also her ex whom she don't want anything to do with, usually shows up at these dinners and she complains about it all the time... so I suggested again, if she had the dinner at her place, she knows he wouldn't be there... grrrrrrrrrrrr she drives me nuts...ok venting over...
I rode my bike 6.9 miles last night.. ran out of time. I did pedal a few more minutes though so I may have actually gotten it in.. Marti, I think you asked me how long I ride.. I started out at 30 minutes, now I ride 45 each time, but I rode 50 minutes the night I rode 8 miles. It depends on the level of difficulty I use. And please what is a gazelle?
Ok, well break is over, time to go finish the laundry, make up the bed and put the laundry away. Then I might take a short 30 min. ride then hit the showers and get ready for an early supper to avoid the rush. I won't be able to post as much in another week, I open my retail shop on the 24th. After that I will be working 7 days a week, 10 hrs. a day till the end of June. So I will try to keep reading the posts so I don't miss out on to much of what is happening.
Ok. well catch ya later.

Hi gals---
I slept in later than I usually do....woke up a quarter til one!!! But I suppose if I don't get to sleep until about 6:30 then I need the sleep right?? Right now I'm multitasking....doing laundry, drinking coffee and typing hello's to you all. :D Talented aren't I??
Ginny:: Here is a link to what a Gazelle looks like:
http://www.homefitnessclub.com/jump.jsp?itemType=CATEGORY&itemID=725&path=722%2C725&ppc=1&kwd=tony_little_gazelle
I got it for my birthday last year. I kept telling James how much I wanted one and he went out and got me one. I used it everyday for months. Then went to San Fran in March and kind of got on the thing occasionally. Now....I'm ready to get back on the thing as much as possible. I really was able to notice a difference in the back end after 2wks!!!
Angie:: You know, your boys got you on your toes being the teens that they are.....I'm starting to wonder if I'll survive Jhanai's teens. The other day she told me that she had dyed her hair blonde....so she could let the blue color stand out more. Which is ok....her dad does this sort of thing and I can't really tell her no. Then she proceeds to tell me that it is picture day the next day!! What?!:yikes: You mean.....you dyed your hair blue the night before picture day?? Jhanai.........
So now her hair is blue.....and mine is gray!:dizzy:
I'm not ready for this!
Susan:: This weather is horrible. So wet. And weird wet if that makes sense. There have been days where you can't really see the rain, but it's loud like really big heavy drops. Does that make sense? I don't know how many sunny days there have been for Easter since Jhanai's been born. Not a lot! Hope it's at least not pouring when all the little kids are out!
Ellen:: I've been a little short on confidence myself lately. Where I work we have windows everywhere! And at night....you can really see your own reflection. Everytime I go down the hall....I see this short fat girl walking!! Brings my spirits down tremendously. And then I want to go grab a candy bar from the vending machine!! It's a horrible way of thinking for me.......which is why I'm determined to try and think positive thoughts when I see own reflection. Things like..."great hair today" or "pretty smiling eyes" or "Outfit looks good today" and eventually I would like to be saying "butt looks great!" "thighs are finally separated!" "no more spare tire!" Geez........
Cristina:: I have a counter on my gazelle. It tells me the miles, the calories, strides, and time. So I'm able to go 30mins and then check to see how far I have gone. Love that addition. I thought about wearing my pedometer and seeing the difference in the mileage! Here is a link to the hotel we're staying in. It's just as nice as the last one we were in....cheaper and closer to everything we want to be going to. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Ftravel.yahoo.com%2Fp-hotel-397216-king_george_hotel-i%26action%3Dimgsearch%26page%3D1&imgcurl=images.travelnow.com%2Fhotels%2FSFO_KING-exter-2.jpg&imgurl=images.travelnow.com%2Fhotels%2FSFO_KING-exter-2.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.san-francisco-hotels-save.com%2Fking-george-hotel-union-square-114653t.html&rcurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.san-francisco-hotels-save.com%2Fking-george-hotel-union-square-114653t.html&name=SFO+KING+exter+2
Branson looks beautiful!! Thanks for the link...which I believe is ok, I'm still not sure what is acceptable....I think links to other diet forums or stuff like that. I should know shouldn't I???
Michelle:: Hope you start feeling better soon!!
Well Laundry needs put in dryer, and another load started then I need to hop on the Gazelle for a bit and then get ready for work.
Have a great Friday everyone!

hello ladies.....nothing really new here. just packing some more and getting rid of more stuff. my sister is having a garage sale the weekend that we move, so she said that we could bring our stuff over to her and she would sell it for us. What doesn't get sold will go to the salvation army.
again another day of great weather! we got to enjoy it by running some errands, then we went out to lunch at our favorite diner off of Lake Huron at the top of the thumb. Then went by the water on the way home.

Hi again ladies,
Mindee, so you live over there, ok. You are on other side of state..
Marti, thanks for the link. So that is a gazelle. My dh bought me my bike for my birthday this past Feb. when we were shopping for it I saw gazelles but didn't know that was what they were called. If you go to your link and go to exercise bikes, mine looks very similiar to the top one.. it's an encumbant bike, but it's a shwinn, top of the line... it tells me how far I go in miles, calories burned, heart rate, rpms, time and it has 8 programs with different levels.
I did everything I had planned to do this afternoon, even rode 6 miles, plus talked to ds#3 and sil on phone. Our supper was very good and then we took Easter egg baskets to 3 grandbabies with helium balloons.. they loved them. Had a nice visit, now we are home and relaxing.. Going to go watch HGTV now, they are showing 100 decorating ideas for under $100. Soon to be dil just told me about it, so we can discuss it later...
Will be back in the morning.. have a good night all.

Good Evening All...Thank you for all of your kind words. I'm sorry that I haven't jumped in and did much of any posting at all, but I'm just a little quiet, and this board has so much going on! Give me some time, I'll be chatting before you know it. This board just seems so overwhelming to me right now. How do all of you get those cute little smilies in your post and signature areas? They are so cut and I haven't seen any of them offered at the side of my post? I'm happy to be here and thank all of you again for being so kind and welcoming to me...

Good morning everyone,
Michelle, congrats. on losing 7 pounds, that is great..:bravo: . in the smiley box click on more and you'll have a whole page of them....
It's a lovely day today, the sun is shining.:sunny: I slept in off and on till 8:30, but you have to hear this... I don't sleep very well most of the time because of my poor pooch. Well Last night he was breathing hard, and acting up as normal these days, then he finally settled down so hubby and I finally got to sleep. I told him when he got up this morning to take the dog down with him and I was going to try to sleep in.. I really need some sleep.. so now here is the punch line.. if it was a joke... at 5:20 am the phone rings...:callme: I wake up and expect to hear my sil on the other end that something has happened to mil.. but it's not... it's an old roommate of ds#4's wanting his phone number.. at 5:20 am.... on a Saturday morning.. If I could have reached thru the phone that boy would have been strangled.:rollpin: :kickbutt::frypan: I swear it's a conspiracy around here to not let us get enough sleep.. and I think that is why I am so fat. All my married life I have not gotten enough sleep, be it kids, hubby, dogs, phone or something. It's a fact, they say lean people get more sleep. so ladies here is what we do.. we go on strike with everything, stop what we are doing every day at 1 and take a nap...oh say about 2 hours should do it.. then make sure we all get 8 hours at night and we'll be slim and trim in no time not to mention well rested... is this a dream or what? There must be something to this because I have a sister who sleeps every afternoon since she got married, and she is slim. One of my old friends who stayed skinny also sleeps alot, always taking naps. Wish I had the luxury of being able to take a nap..:carrot:
Ok ok..I am going grocery shopping as soon as ds#4 brings me my car. Sure wish he'd hurry and buy one of his own.. Decided I am not making an Easter basket for the house/dh. I will get him healthy snacks instead of candy. There are no smileys for Easter...a cute bunny would be nice.
Well, hope everyone has a good day. Will check in periodically to see Ellen's pretty posts and see what everyone is up to.

Good Morning Ginny...Thanks so much for the congrats on my weight loss!;) Yesterday wasn't the best day, because I had much stress due to some family members, but I told myself that NOBODY was going to interfere with my mind set now and distract me from working towards my goal. It can get so frustrating some days, because you want the weight to come off really fast, but in real sense, you know that's not good and you need to take it slow and adjust to a new healthy way of living, so this way the weight will stay off for GOOD!:) About the smilies ~ the only ones I see to click on are the ones to the right of this box I am typing in now, and when you click on the MORE, it just shows you the same smilies. I love all of yours that you used in your above posting, and those are the ones I'm trying to find. Any help please would be much appreciated, since I'm not too good with a computer to begin with. I hope to talk again soon ~ have a great day...

Howdy Ladies...
I was up early this morning...didn't want to be, but had too. Had a showing at 10:15. Thank goodness I cleaned yesterday so didn't have so much to do today. Now the house is all clean, I'm wide awake and have nothing to do! I was so angry yesterday. We had the showing at 3 and when I came home my sliding door and screen were open! There's some that usually don't bother closing the screen even though when they get here it is closed and locked. So not that big a deal. And I've had some not bother locking the sliding door but yesterday really topped it. The door was left open about an inch...the realtor didn't even bother checking things to make sure they were locked before leaving and believe me she heard about it. I told her that I thought it was a shame that I have to put a note on my door to tell people to make sure they close and lock the door before leaving. Still can't believe that, anyway...
SUSAN...I'm glad you liked it! I saw that in Wal-Mart, I think, and had to get it for you! I think it's sad that Mike can't step up to the plate and be responisble enough to pay his support for Miss Gaby. I keep thinking one day he will wake but the more you talk abou thim, I don't think it's ever going to happen. Hope you had a fun day shopping and have a fun Easter Egg hunt tomorrow!
ANGIE...that is creepy! Ya, who's looking that hard at someone's pictures in their home? I may glance at some but would never remember them or the people in them. And I too don't look at the colors of things. I look at the layout and if I like it and if everything is going to fit. Like you and I think everyone...it would all be changed to my liking anyway. Have fun in Sylvan tomorrow and enjoy your Easter dinner.
MARTI...YIKES! I think I would have died if Carrie dyed her hair blue at that age! Now as a teenager she wanted to put highlights in her hair which I thought would be fine but she never did. Her hair is so dark and pretty the way it is I think she would regret it and not like it if she did do something to it. And I told her she could never do anything off the wall to it while living under my roof. Of course Josh tried dying his red, I'm talking bright red, not like the red dye you buy at a salon. Thank goodness it didn't work! His hair is black and for some reason the dye didn't take. The Hotel looks fabulous! What a pretty place to stay while in SanFran. You guys are going to have the best time! I'm checking out Kansas City now. Found out they have some casino's there and with it being a lot bigger than Topeka we would have more places to go and see. We were going to head to Harrah's in Topeka but there's really nothing else to do around there. Still not definite but need to plan something soon for sure.
ELLEN... you know, I was watching one of those shows on HGTV...can't remember if it was House Hunters, Designed to Sell or what. But it cracked me up because several times I heard people say they didn't like the furniture or they liked a certain piece of furniture and asked if it came with the house. What!? Umm, excuse me but the furniture is not for sale, you are there to look at the house not what's in it. So apparently a lot of people do look at your stuff. Anyway, when our realtor first came in he looked around and started telling us what we needed to do as far as taking down stuff. Basically wanted the kitchen counters bare, the magnets off the fridge, all the pictures taken off tables, walls etc. and went on and on. I just looked at him like he was nuts! :dizzy: But we did do some cleaning. A house has to look lived in. Anyway, no selling a house isn't pleasant. So no more talk about selling the house! :D Did you get your wheaties yesterday?
GINNY...such a sweet gramma you are. I bet the kids did love the baskets. My kids are BIG kids, or should I say older? But I still get them a little something as well as DH. Gave the kids their card and some candy and have yet to give DH his. Should have gotten something healthy but oh well, it's Easter. Glad you and DH had a nice dinner out. What the heck was up with DS's friend calling tha early in the morning!? :yikes: I would never dream of calling someone that early. Of course if he is in a different state and the time is later he may have forgotten. Josh called me at 11:39 one night...of course I missed the call because I was in bed asleep! I told him several times to remember that he is 4 hours behind us but he keeps forgetting. He's in Hawaii until next week, when he goes to CA so then he will be two hours behind which won't be so bad. Anyway, here I go again babbling...hopefully you guys finally got some sleep.
MICHELLE...it can be somewhat overwhelming at times here, I know if I miss a day of posting it can be. Hard to catch up sometimes. And when Susan and Ellen get started...watch out! But then we have our quiet times too. I would much rather have lots going on though. It's fun to see how everyone is doing and just to see them having fun. So just jump in when you feel comfortable. Are you meaning the clip-art that Ellen posts? Or the weight loss trackers? (Can't remember now if you have one) I'm not sure where Ellen gets her clip art but it sure is cute! The weight loss trackers though 3fc has some and a couple of other places...tickerfactory.com has some and it is okay to use here. CONGRAT'S on your loss! :carrot:
MINDEE...don't mention the "p" word girly! I don't even want to think about that yet, nor do I look forward to it. We have some boxes but don't want the house to look cluttered and messy while we are trying to sell it. So once an offer comes in and that gets going then I will think about the "p" word. Isnt this weather nice? Well, it has actually been a little too hot here, in the 90's the last two days which is unusual this time of year.
JANE...hope you have a nice first Easter in your new home!
I need to go find something to do today ladies or I will be bored out of my mind. No special plans for tomorrow. With the kids being older we really don't do anything on Easter. Once in a while I will cook a ham dinner but with Josh being gone it's not the same. Not really into it. So just another boring day for me. Anyway, HI to everyone else
Take care ladies and have a very HAPPY EASTER tomorrow!

Hi again ladies,
Christina, the boy who called, he's not really a boy.. he's like 27 or so.. should know better, is in the same time zone. Son said he was drunk, but that is still no excuse.. told son to inform this young man he better not do that again or vengance will be mine..yahahahahahah (Angie) I am rubbing my hands together...
Michelle, if you click on more at the bottom of the smiley box it should give you a whole page full of smileys...try it again.
Nothing really to say. I'm back from shopping. Wally world was so busy it took me 2 hrs.. course it usually does... I always seem to run into someone and have to visit a spell. But I timed it right, ds#4 just got dropped off at house when I pulled in, so he unloaded my groceries for me.. then we had lunch together. DH was still home for lunch too. But they are both gone again. It is just me and my doggie. I am now going to go bake a pineapple upside down cake and a lemon merange pie from scatch for tomorrow. Having baked ham, scalloped potatoes, creamed peas, glazed carrots, rolls and butter. Not real butter. Just be the 4 of us. Sorry Jane, more food porn... :hun:
Nobody has any comments on the sleep deprivation making us fat. It's true I have read it in several magazines. But wish I could do something about it without being sick.
Oh, I didn't do so good on getting healthy Easter treats for dh. I did get him a little bit of chocolate. I have a couple pretty candy dishes so I got stuff to put in them.:chockiss:
I too watch HGTV and see when they have those shows on sellling houses. Some of the things that lady does to make it more sellable, I don't know. It sure wouldn't make me want the house. I would tend to be more attracted to something that looks cozy and comfortable, not a half empty room. She has them buy new furniture etc. just to sell the house..she never says if this stuff is going with the house or not. I wouldn't want to buy a furnished house, I would want my own things. One time she had them paint all their woodwork and the mantle in the livingroom black...and the walls were turquoise, I thought it looked like crap.. the rest of the house had natural woodwork I think.. the living room stuck out like a sore thumb... I didn't like it...
ok, I guess that is all I can gab about for now. Where is Ellen? I don't see her handy clipart yet today. And what happened to Jules?
Ok, will check back in later when the baking is done...

Back again for a few minutes...
GINNY...I figured the guy was older than a boy, but now I'm thinking really...what was he thinking. 5 something in the morning and drunk!? Kids today...anyway...yummy to my tummy...someone else mentioned pineapple upside down cake not to long ago, thinking it was Susan...sure sounds good though. By the way, what time is Easter dinner? :hun: Should I dress up? I think I can make it in time if I drive really, really fast! Your dinner sounds so goooood! :T I know what ya mean about some of those rooms. Just don't see how painting an ugly color and taking out most of the furniture makes a house more sell-able (don't think that is a word, lol, that's okay, I make up words all the time!) Some of those shows though I'm not really sure where they got their experience/training. I think i could do a better job. I too was wondering where MS Ellen was, and Susan.
ANGIE...I was thinking about what you said about the ribbon around the ankle. Funny, because I found a flower chain if you will, not sure what you would call it. It goes around the ankle and is a vine with small roses and buds on it. On the side it has a cross and a heart hanging from it making it look like an anklet. And I kept looking at it and thinking how much I like it and DD said I should do that and make it like a charm bracelet/anklet and add a charm to it every year, or for a special occasion, starting with a yellow ribbon. I thought that was a GREAT idea.
Anyway, was looking up other stuff online and thought of the ribbon Angie mentioned as I was dozing. Getting up early just doesn't agree with me. And Ginny, I'm with ya on the nap!
 Hi Ginny ~ THANK YOU!!!:cp: It's amazing how some smilies can make me so happy! I finally figured it out. When I went in that box. I was only going sideways, which shows the same as to the right. When I went down, then I found them...duh!!!:faint:

:stress: Hi Again...I'm still NEW here and still trying to learn my way around here. Well I didn't realize there are CERTAIN policies on threads. I joined in one thread and listed my lost pounds, which is now 9, and thought I was okay. Well I read a post after mine saying I need to actually join and report my weight each week to a certain person, and fill out information on myself. I'm still just a little confused, and it makes a person feel STUPID, and I posted back and told her I'll pass on that group...WOW:headache:

Hi again,
Michelle, stick with us kid, we account to no one but ourselves.. we take your word for it. Some places get a little ridiculous. That is why I hate to join anything, they want to know to much information. Even when I went to Curves, which I enjoyed, it's a nice place even if it didnt' do my weight loss any good except for the first 6 weeks.. but you have to weigh in and be measured and blah blah blah.... I don't like to do that.. it's no one's business what size my thighs are... it is one thing to weigh in at the doctor's office, but just anyone can work at these other places, and your file is not really private... well I just threw in my 2 cents worth..
I am doing so good today.. I got the cake and pie done, laundry done, groceries bought and put away, place straightened out.. and supper almost done.. well it should have been done NOW but when my timer went off I realized I had never turned the oven on.:yikes: .so the chops are still cold and raw....good thing dh is running late. Now I'll tell him he has time for a shower, I planned it this way..:) I thought I left the oven on after the baking, but I must have turned it off. I seem to do that on occasion.. forget to turn it on that is.. my oven takes two switches to turn on.. I usually set the temp but forget to turn it on... oh well, it will just taste that much better.:chef: :stir:
My ds#2 in Calif. called and I had a nice talk with him, dil and 5 yr. dgs. Dgs who is not quite 2 just giggled into the phone and waved bye bye to it.. and of course the newborn was heard crying in the distance. Makes me want to go pick him up.. I wish I could see him now. Aug. is to far away.:bb:
All in all it's a good day. Hope you are all having a good day also, since you aren't posting, you must be busy.  :stir: :cofdate: :coach: :beach: :scooter: :running: :woops:
Ok. well just waiting for dh to get home. Will check in before bedtime.

HI EVERYONE....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/eastr20.jpg When I started this post I was so tired, I was almost finished and went to answer the phone, I just came back and the kitty had stepped on the keyboard and erased my post.:( I am to tired to start again so forgive me, for not doing individuals tonight. I had a lot to get finished before the love seats came today, I didn't quite achieve my goals but I did the best I could do. My hands weren't cooperating at all yesterday, its hard cleaning each crystal piece by piece, when your fingers stiffen up. Some day the arthritis isn't to bad, some days it is and yesterday was of those days. The furniture came and I am so happy, they are very pretty, more so than I remembered. I only went to the store one time and that was in January and ordered them. I was hyperventilating about the fabric dye lot ,what if it was different than the store model, then I was worried about the paint, which I picked out 6 months before I even went looking for a sofa, then what if they didn't fit, because according to the measurements they were going to be a bit bigger than my old sofa's and I really don't have any room to play with, my living room is long but narrow. But everything turned out wonderful , the dye lot was perfect , the paint was perfect and they fit perfect, so now I can breathe  Well all the kitties have claimed their positions on the new furniture , looks like I may sleep alone tonight  It sounds like you girls are all so busy getting ready for Easter. Congratulations Michelle on your weight loss, keep up the good work  I have been sticking to my diet , and I am quite happy about that, I will know how its going when I do my weigh in on Monday. Susan how are you doing, I saw the word ham and two little piggy's I'm sure , are you being a good girl. Did you manage to spend all your money or did you save some. All I keep reading is cakes ,pies, pineapple upside down cake, and chocolate, its all so tempting. Fortunately I don't have one bad thing in the house , because right now I am craving something sweet. This is the first day since the infamous cheesecake, that I have had any cravings for sweets. I just have to stay focused , its to easy to give up. I am kind of rattling away about nothing, but I wanted to pop in to say Hi before I go to bed. I am taking a half of gravol tonight to make sure I sleep. Even though I am very tired, I have been having a lot of trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. That usually works for me when , my system is out of whack , so tonight I am going to try it and see if it helps me sleep. I hope everyone is having a great night. I can almost smell all the wonderful aroma's coming from your kitchen tonight, good thing I live far away  Ok girls I am off to bed wish me luck :lol:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/tearose1/eastr20.jpg

HAPPY EASTER!!!
Sorry to be MIA...between work and seasonal allergies, I have no energy. I go to the gym and then to bed most nights.
DH & I went out on the motorcycle yesterday and it was so much fun.
Both kids are coming over today. DS's girlfriend is going to her Mom's and DS doesn't like her step-Dad so he's coming here. The step-Dad is very sarcastic and demeaning to women and my son doesn't want to be around him because he says if the step-Dad says anything negative to Alicia again he might just have to punch him in the nose. He has already told him off verbally and the step-Dad and I also had a go round when DS and Alicia were dating in high school. DS gets along with the Mom & younger step-brother if the step-Dad is not around. Alicia's Dad and grandmother love DS and he loves them. She ended up moving in with her grandmother her senior year due to the step-Dad being such an @$$!!!!
DD is doing better, she still has her up days and down days. She seems to be having more up days since starting counseling. She doesn't think that I understand her pain. I told her that I was going to find an old journal filled with my "misery" after my first love and I broke up. I read it a few years after my DH and I were together and it totally cracked me up, but at the time I was feeling exactly like she is--like I would never love or be loved again.

Happy and Blessed Easter to all, ladies,
It is a beautiful day even if it's cloudy and suppose to rain, it isn't yet. Church was really full, but just not like it used to be. And hardly anyone was really dressed up nicely. Remember when everyone got a new dress or coat for Easter, little girls were dressed in nice dresses, but only a few women and no young girls. Most still wore pants or skorts, even jeans. I am old fashioned I don't think church is a place for jeans. I know God don't care what we wear, but it just seems disrespectful.
I am looking for a special song to play at ds wedding so he and I an dance to it. While listening to several on line this morning, it hit me.. my baby is getting married. I didn't cry at my two other sons' weddings but I think I may at this one.
Well, I better hit the pots and pans and get them rattling. The ham is in the oven, the potatoes are cooked, I am going to fix them up scalloped. The carrots are cooked, just need to be glazed at the last minute as the peas to be creamed. I am hungry already.
Well, will check in later, hope you are all enjoying the day with your family.
Later,
Ginny

Happy Easter! My favorite holiday.
I just made eggs and ham for the girls (with croissants- yum). I made them all baskets and I put them at the end of their bed. When Gaby woke up she didn't notice the basket right away so I said "the Easter Bunnys been here" and at that Gaby dove back under the blankets and said "I'm scared". lol
Yesterday she wouldn't get on the Bunnies lap so I had to sit by him with Gaby on my lap. The photographer said "we can't see mother!" and I said "mother doesn't want to be seen".....ugh.
I was in the picture anyway, holding Gaby down so she wouldn't run. She looked great even though she was scared to death.
Of course she does warm up as we walk away saying " I love him, I love the bunny. I am not scared" ugh
We went to Build a Bear and she picked out a husky dog that she named Wolf. Went over to her half sisters and did an Easter Egg hunt.
Today, of course, is Wiggles!
Congrats on the weight loss Michelle.
Your furniture sounds so nice Ellen. HUGS and I hope you have a good day :)

Hello Susan and Ellen and everyone else..
Well, it's over. Ended up with more company than I expected but that is ok, I got rid of the pie and gave half of the leftovers for son to take home, Tomorrow I'll take the cake to work for the guys, so it will be gone.. I did slip and have some candy, but like Ellen said, It's Easter... and I will compensate tomorrow when I do more exercise of some kind. I didn't get a ride in today, had company most of the day.. but I rode 8 miles last night and will do again tomorrow..
Tomorrow we begin again. Until then I am heading to bed, I am tired. I'll check back in the morning, hope more of you find your back here..

GOOD EVENING LADIES ....EASTER SUNDAY IS WINDING DOWN
I hope everyone had a lovely day. My day was quiet, but nice . I guess the Easter clip art can go into the archives for another year  Well back to business as usual tomorrow, I sure hope the rest of this year doesn't go as fast as these first 4 months have. I don't really have to much to say, still kind of tired, although I got a bit of sleep last night , it didn't make up for the many nights before. I will wish you all a Happy Easter one more time, and I hope everyone had a wonderful day.
PS: HI SUSAN , MAYBE YOU WOULD RATHER DO OUR FIRST WEIGH IN NEXT MONDAY , DEPENDS HOW GOOD YOU WERE TODAY  LET ME KNOW OK I'M FLEXIBLE

I am flexible too Ellen, we can weigh in next Monday. I am ok with that!lol
omg- I ate a bag of cotton candy and fought with Gaby over the buttered popcorn at the Wiggles concert. She gave me 5 kernals at a time.We had fun though and I love her spirit because when we got back in the car to go home she grabs a Starburts to eat.
We had fun and with all the sugar I was about to run down and jump on the stage and dance, I was so hyper. lol
I watched Gaby dance and smile and I had to fight back tears. She is so beautiful, her father is missing so much.
MG and Cable Guy are different. I did have a CableG. I think they are more into having a girl to hook their cable into, while the Maintenance Man is helpful and wants to look at your plumbing but in a nice way, not in a smuty way.
Course what do I know? lol
Very interesting words that I heard the other day. I forget where. It was "She is stuck on that chapter".......meaning she ( I think it was someones daughter in law) was stuck in life - living the same thing over and over again. Anyway, I am trying to figure what that means to me, if anything- lol *cough. Ok that is my attempt at being deep. hehe.
Hi Ginny! mmm, cake .
better get a little girl in the bath!
