100 lb. Club - Coach Charles :)

I signed up to coach my daughter in soccer this season. This was a goal of mine when I started my weight loss. I was too out of shape to do it before and did not want to embarrass Katy. She may not have been embarrassed, but I had that fear - so I never did it. Anyway, here is a picture of the first game.

Boy it has been a long road from where I started. I still have a ways to go, but boy the trip has been great so far. Many a trip to the gym, many a mile walked and jogged and many a health meal eaten. Like I say, I have a ways to go but boy the trip is so worth it. :D

Congratulations on meeting your goal. I bet you and you daughter will have a great time. I love soccer. I don't play but watch it and cheer for my son. He saved is allowance and bought his first soccer ball at the age of 7, that was 20 years ago.

coaching is great fun i coached a kids rugby team for 3 years. its amazing i live in the country that invented soccer and i hate the game. bad memories of staning out in the snow wind rain and hale. on the side of hill with my legs turning blue, and unable to feel my hands or feet. mind you looks like you have great weather at the moment.

coaching is such great fun i'm even doing a degree in it. good luck for the season

It must be so great to just look like a "normal dad" and be able to do really gerat things like this.
