for the first time.I'm excited! Anything I should expect,or should ask when there? Never belonged to a gym before,so not sure what to look for as far as it being a good place to join. Also, should I go earlier in the day(which would mean I'd have to bring my 4 yr.old with),or wait till dinner time when hubby is home? Can't wait! :carrot:

I don't suggest that you take your son because you may not be able to concentrate on him and what they are explaining to you at the same time. Whatever time of day is convenient for you.

Let us know how it went.

Exspect loads of new friends :) I meet lots of GREAT Women!!
I go in the Morning thats when I have NO kids to worry about, but mine are older anyway so even if they are home I still go . As for ure little one, you should ask ure curves some wont let you take the little ones. I know ours does not like it, it disrupts the workout when u have to run after a little one or keep watching him.

Went and set up an appt.to try out some of the machines,so went last night and tried a few out.Everyone seems really nice,so I go back tonite for my first workout :D I can't wait!I got the feeling that it's a much smaller, family like atmosphere...which I hadn't planned on,but is perfect for what I need right now,and what makes me feel more comfortable.People that can help in keeping me motivated, since thats what kills me everytime I try and get healthy and fit....motivation,or lack of.I'll post how tonite goes after my workout :)

Our curves doesn't allow children either due to insurance regulations.

Also our curves makes appts for your consulation so make sure you call first! And be prepared to pay your membership on that day if you want your discount. (At least that is how ours operates :) )

Good Luck and I hope you love it!
